    Backup Brake Assist

Primary causes of this is total lack of law abiding driving and newbie drivers. I blame most of it on texters and people waiting till the last minute to cross all the lanes for an exit. Texting while driving used to be a secondary offense but has been upgraded to a primary offense which in my...

    Backup Brake Assist

I myself have never hit anything in a parking routine in over 50 years of driving. I don't mind the bells and whistles but I don't appreciate the music being interfered with every time I come close to an object. (ATM etc) It's amazing how many times things come within the range of the sensors in...

    Backup Brake Assist

Hi All, Just wondering if there's a way to disable it without compromising the ICC stop/go feature. I hadn't experienced the backup brake assist until yesterday and including today, I thought I actually hit what I was backing toward and realized the ST hit the brakes and not the car behind me...

BIG brakes for our Explorers, this time affordable

Looks great! Unfortunately, I'm just a daily driver with an occasional itchy foot so can't justify almost 1k/wheel when the stockers bring me to a halt on command. They are brand new w/ceramic pads so I would wear these down before I even thought about these high level SuperForgeds. Would love...

    Brakes

The pads I got are the proper size but as I posted earlier, still get that grunting sound upon brake release for the first few brakes of the day. They're Bendix brakes for the standard ST brake set.

    Brakes

I installed ceramic pads also and get that grunting sound upon brake release on the first outing of the day. When they're warmed up, it stops.

    Cross Brace

Ford Explorer ST Recall 23S23 360 Degree Camera Stop Sale

The one I got isn't new but I not only test drove it first but got a pre-purchase inspection done by a mechanic before I even touched a pen. That enabled me to talk them down in price after a couple problems were sited on the inspection. Trust no one at a stealership! Especially if you just met...

    Cross Brace

So am I to understand that a strut brace does nothing for the suspension/handling? Doesn't the ST come stock with them or is that an upgrade?

Waido Hitch Cover with lower exhaust enclosure

No, not too bad but it def made me balk at purchasing.

Waido Hitch Cover with lower exhaust enclosure

For that kinda money, it needs to be more precise. Nice ST you have though!

Waido Hitch Cover with lower exhaust enclosure

Slight overshot on both sides. Guess that's aftermarket! :)

    Recall Rear Bolt Fracture?

Yup, with 50 more HP and probably better gears.

    Recall Rear Bolt Fracture?

Had a '70 GTO. The ST would def overtake it.

Waido Hitch Cover with lower exhaust enclosure

Thanks for that verification! As far as the pieces around the muffler, is that a fitment issue? Also, does the hitch cover still allow for the hands free hatch opener?
