    Sounds

Hi All, When the door is opened on the ST, I hear a motorized sound from underneath. (not the mirror) I also may hear it again after the door is shut before the engine is started. Any idea what that may be? Probably a routine initializing but just curious. Thanks!

    Features

Wow, I guess there's different variations of parking assist. With the 2012 Escape, you just had to turn the directional on what side of the road you needed to park and then push the button just once. It would then hunt for a space at least one and a half times the length of the vehicle and then...

    I'm Impressed!

The turbos only spin high rate when high boost demand is present. They run off of the exhaust so when the engine stops, so do they. At that point, there is no spin. They need rpm to engage but it is engine 'load' that activates them. In my case, the turbo timer was used to let the oil and...

    Features

I guess that will be a challenge keeping "blue cruise' from shooting warnings when monitoring your dash or display entails taking your eyes off the road. :) Was familiar with adaptive cruise but the stop and go feature was new to me. So is perpendicular parking as my 2012 Escape only performed...

    Features

Hi All, I've had the ST just for 2 weeks now and it seems every day, I find another feature/option that's not obvious and hard to know unless someone tells you about it. They certainly are not listed in the sale options. 1. The little pocket in front of the center console is a wireless charger...

Hello to other Ford enthusiast's just purchased a 21 ST Love it!

Yes, this launches nicely with some 93 in it. That 10 speed plays a good part in that. Too much fun for an SUV!

    Performance Tuning

Def a few cheaper than what I mentioned I would've paid for the tune. The cold air intake w/hard pipes and intercooler adds another $2000.

    Performance Tuning

Right? And agreed! Do you feel the same about the cold air intake and intercooler upgrade?

    Performance Tuning

Hi All, I was interested in the Ford performance tuning. I was directed to the performance tool M-9603-EX30. I called the Ford Performance Team and as far as the warranty is concerned, Ford Performance says it would take a new ST warranty down to 3/36,000. That would be a moot point for me...

    I'm Impressed!

Had a built up 7M with stock coolant cooled upgraded turbo. Ran 2.9 sec 0-60s. A modded auto helped with that. Just felt safer with a timer. Wasn't aware the coolant kept circulating on the newer car turbos. That's good to know!

    Single Turbo kit

I'm sure you'd get more response if you posted performance #s. Is there a tune to go with this kit? Thanks!

    I'm Impressed!

Had a Supra from '95 to '07 and we had recommended timers on those. They had coolant and oil running through. I'm wondering if the turbo technology of today has improved on the coolant routing.

    I'm Impressed!

Hi All, Just starting the second week with this 2020. The feature set is sick! It's got so many amenities and automation that I may have to call her Christine! I spend a good time on the road in my business and was pleased to get a massage on the drive back tonight. The night before, I...

    Transmission

Thanks for the hits! I'll leave the tranny with Ford spec fluid. Next engine oil change will be Royal Purple if I can still find it. Otherwise, Mobil 1 or Amsoil.
