    Thoughts on this mod?

So wait, is there a part 2? lol cuz he states what the “problem” is, but doesn’t mention a solution. Would a silicone hose with a hose clamp be better? Update: ahhh I read the comments in YouTube. turns out he capped both ends off. Not sure if that’d be good or bad.

    Best Fuel?

Dunno where everyone is from but gas prices here in San Diego have dropped. Cpl weeks ago I was paying $6.79/gallon for 91. This last tank I filled up a cpl days ago, it was $5.19/gallon also for 91. So my opinion, lol it’s a lot better. Relatively.

    Boosted’s “Triple C” Build

LOL, sorry, you mentioned those in your original post so I thought that’s what the “Triple C” stood for. :D Anyway, nicely done. The stock Intercooler is embarrassingly small. I think some1 mentioned it’s the same size as the ones Ford put on the Focus ST & RS. Even then, I’m pretty sure the...

    Cold Air Intake

Bummer, by chance, did they cap off the bottom of the intake on the driver’s side tube? Like this or something similar?

Lastly make sure the connection to the driver’s side turbo is on good.

    Cold Air Intake

down in this area, make sure they capped the intake since we didn’t get BOVs from the factory. I just used a 1” chair end tip and clamped it in place for now.

On the driver’s side make sure to check your connections.

so the tab on the sensor needs to be pointing towards the air filter.

    Cold Air Intake

Ok I installed mine. I took my time and triple checked every step cuz I was scared to get a CEL. It took me a hair under 2 hours to install it. After the install I first let the engine idle for 5 mins. Then I drove it for about 45 miles and still no CEL. But I will keep an eye on it. Can you...

    Cold Air Intake

I agree with Mikey. They had to have done a step wrong. The IAT sensor maybe wasn’t aligned properly, or maybe they got the hoses mixed up when plugging them back in. I watched this install vid a cpl times. Maybe check it out too, it might help you figure out where the problem is.

    Cold Air Intake

That’s so strange. So far your ST is the only one that has had this problem, that I’ve heard of. I’m wondering if they did something wrong at the dealership. Have you tried resetting the ECU? The car would have to re-learn your driving habits but that might do it. I mean no guarantees but in...

    Cold Air Intake

Just a thought but if you’ve got a 2022 without the bov capped, could that be the culprit for throwing a CEL?
