Rear turn signal LED upgrade options

This is what I have. No need for the resistor... just turn off the hyperflash with Forscan. SEALIGHT Amber Yellow 3157 3156... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PW4H7NC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

    Mid-pipe replacement?

this is the tool you can rent for free. The stock end with the welded on clamp even has two slits on it so it most certainly can be expanded for it to fit...

    Mid-pipe replacement?

I installed the Lethal about a month ago, The passenger side end seemed like it was the same size too but more likely the clamp on the stock mating end had compressed the pipe. I ended up renting a tailpipe expander from Autozone and then it fit no problem. That whole ordeal made install...

    2020 Explorer ST starting problem

Are u guys starting on level ground? Could it be you were on the low side of fuel. I have heard people report they cant start on a slight incline or when they are low (but clearly not empty) on fuel. Neither should be a problem but is for some.

    Oil and Filter Cartridge Change

Its dark for sure. Mine consumes a qt every 10k miles so i add some every 5k. Unlike many here, i do oil changes according to the car.

    Drive Line Fault, 4WD disabled

You need an OBD2 adapter, a Forscan-recommended one. They can be bluetooth or wired. The software is PC, that usually means a laptop. If you want just diagnostics and run service procedures, they have iOS and android. 99% of the time, I'm using my OBDLINK MX+ bluetooth with my Forscan Lite...

    Drive Line Fault, 4WD disabled

I would urge you to get Forscan and run codes yourself. My speed sensor went out a couple of months ago. Forscan had code specifically identifying the front half shaft speed sensor.

    DTC P0299

Yeah, since it happens with a stock tune, definitely check your intake install. Many have had codes related to the install.

    Undercarriage Rattling

yup, get some stainless fender washers and M6 nuts. There is a section that is cut inward (for whatever reason), that flaps even with the new hardware. You can get creative with some zip ties to fasten it to the holes above.

Nope. What other mods do you have?

    Stock Audio Settings

That's a start but the stock system needs more attenuation in the treble as well and a 6 band equalizer may not do it. Bottom line, the sound is too colored/flawed and needs driver replacement to make it right. Start with 3" treble and 6x9" mid bass units in the front doors. The OE 1" soft...

    Tire Shine

OK, so I bought a Dura-Coating kit and have to say I like it. Sure, cleaning the tire was a pain but hopefully won't have to do that again for the remaining life of the tire. It looks good and no splatter. If I drive though mud/dirt, it seems to come right off easily in a car wash. I have...

    Liftgate Driving Me Insane....

no dashboard lights. just scan. not a big deal, just wondering.

    Missing Parts

i would not assume the deflector works with aftermarket exhausts. There is a lot of room back there that an aftermarket exhaust might deviate from the stock piping path. I doubt their test STs had the deflectors.

    Liftgate Driving Me Insane....

Did the plug removal trick. Does anyone get a code when they check with Forscan?

    Dashboard errors on long trip

Don't know if you have for scan but I would definitely scan for codes. It will undoubtedly show something. I think it's worthwhile to invest in Forscan Lite with the OBDLink MX+ bluetooth dongle. I take it on trips for diagnostics but you can also run service procedures on the fly. My front...

    Chrome on window switches

After I cut my finger, decided to replace it. It's only a $28 dollar part (+ s/h), so did it myself out of pocket to save me time. Literally takes 5 minutes: pop the switch panel up, remove 3 screws, replace switch, reverse.

Terrible weekend with catastrophic ST failure

Because it was sudden, did you verify the serpentine belt didnt snap or the belt tensioner failed.
