I thought there is a special mode you can enable in forscan that disables interior lights from coming on. My understanding is it has to do with police versions. I’ll see if I can find the name. Edit: it’s just called dark mode. I know it was available on the 5th gen. Not sure about 6th gen.

Glad it’s resolved. These batteries in these cars seem to be a weak point. My auto start stop hasn’t worked in months. I’m glad. But it just makes me think the battery is weak. It always just saying it’s charging in the widget.

Ugh wow that is unfortunate. You should check out those portable jumper charger battery things. But yeah, definitely make sure they document all and any damage!

Lol I hear you. Honestly that was one of my first thoughts. Like damn, I can’t imagine how the Zfg tune is. In a couple years once my warranty concerns are over, I very well may switch to Zfg. But for now, I can rest easy and drive the hell out of my ST.

Yeah I saw that as well. Definitely further admission of fault or wrongdoing by ford. No matter the cause. Assuming this wasn’t a fluke and is the normal moving forward.

Seconded on the awesafe. Thing has been very solid for me. In fact I don’t even want to update the firmware. Unless it adds features or something. Would hate to screw up the stability of it right now.

I had requested one from my dealer but changed my mind. Didn’t want to drill into the front end. Ended up getting a Sto N sho. Easy install and looks good.

Glad I’m hearing more stories about users prepping the tune and then just taking it to the dealer/shop to actually press the install button. Kinda had me worried initially when I was told to do this, but seems to be pretty common at this point.
