Anyone had their interior door panels off.. or intending to for any reason? Wobbly windows..

Most likely the channel that holds the rear windows has a single pivot point. The windows rock a bit when they're not up all the way. Doesn't seem to be serious. I just hold 'em steady while I clean.

    Someone needed a surf board.

New Explorer, has a few imperfections

Make sure you get compensated for "reduced value". Someone will look at the CarFax in a couple of years and see the damage repair entry.

    Black lug nuts

I did all mine in between rain showers ;). I re-torqued them after running some errands.

    Black lug nuts

Factory tint is in the glass, it isn't a film on the glass. My windows are marked "70%". I guess that meets the most stringent state statute. I put 30% on mine, so I guess that nets out to 49%?

    # of Keys with new purchase

I purposely have three keys. One "ST" and two "Ford". My wife has one, I have one and the third is in the safe. Count your blessings if all three work for no extra $$. My third key was about $280. I did have the dealer take the third key from the Limited and program it for the ST.

    Tires

Airless tires ("tweels") have been around a long time. Michelin put some on a Corvette a long time ago. They worked great, handled well, were nail-resistant, etc., etc. One thing they can't handle: mud. It gets caught in the webbing and throws the balance WAY off. Great idea for lawn mowers, not...

    Tires

There's nothing on the tire that contains valid information. The door placard is the source.

    Conical seat angle

$150.00 !? Yeow!! I bought these off Amazon $28. They fit fine and tightened up with no complaints https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B096C68LNH?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Oops, I missed the locking part. Fortunately, I live where they are not so necessary. I had locking lugs on my Ram...

    What's everyone's drive mode?

City driving needs quicker response to driver input. Highway driving is miles and miles of steady-state condition. My recent road trip was 2-5 hours at a stretch with minimal speed changes or quick need of the warp drive.

CV Fab Intercooler in Prototype Stage

I'm in Florida. Bit of a haul for that - thanks anyway. I have a shop I trust to do it right. I just don't see the advanage offsetting the cost. I'll never track the car. It's just my people-hauler, trailer-tower, fun SUV. On the days I lean on it a bit, it then sits in my driveway for a few...

CV Fab Intercooler in Prototype Stage

I bought an intercooler, down pipe and charge piping for my EB Mustang. Jason might recognize my name. Great folks to work with. Thinking about this for my ST, but jeez the disassembly is pretty daunting.

    What's everyone's drive mode?

Same here. I just finished a 2,600 mile road trip. On Eco all the way. Average 24.4, best 26.2. I'm also going to try 87 for a while, since I'll be commuting for a few months.

    Real world mpg

Why? If you're on the interstate for 5-8 hours, why not use Eco mode? All that seems to change is how it accelerates using cruise. It's a bit more leisurely when the cruise tells it to accelerate. If you need more, use the loud pedal.

    Real world mpg

Especially on road trips! The highway is where you need power. Torque is not a player at 75mph, but power to push the air aside is a definite factor. We just finished a 2,600 mile road trip and averaged 24.4 mpg (best:26.2) running 75-80. I put 87 in it today, which mixed with the remaining 93...

    OCD Screen protector

Pillar protectors look cool, but I've already installed my vent shades. Not sure I want to try to custom-cut the panel.

18o t stat. Good or bad?

According to my ScanGauge II, that's what it seems to do.
