Driving home to Dallas-Winter Storm Mara

Good to hear that it worked for you. The first 2 winters that I owned mine I never needed as with the weather conditions it wasn't needed. This winter has been a different story and I've used it a number of times.

Report back on how you like it. I sure think it works well.

Driving home to Dallas-Winter Storm Mara

I'm not in Texas but we have had a lot of slippery conditions here in WI this winter. If the roads are bad I would recommend using slippery mode from my experience. Dramatic difference in traction. Stay safe.

Almost Lost Her - Random Post

Slippery mode does reduce the throttle response.

    Back-up Camera Issues

I don't have a notice as of yet. But if I check using my VIN number it shows the recall. Not to concerned but will be getting an oil change soon and I'll ask my service advisor about it.

My brakes are fine on slippery conditions. I don't have the street pack so that might make a difference. But The few times I've used slippery mode it made a huge difference so when it gets bad I use it.

Did you use slippery mode? For me that helps a lot.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Then I would suggest the AWR brace. https://store.awrracing.com/2020-ford-explorer-st-differential-mount/

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

You need to look and see if yours has 1 or 2 bolts attaching the cross member to the differential. If yours has 2 bolts your in good shape. See this picture showing the 2 bolts.

The "Space GhoST" has lost its powers....

Maybe @UNBROKEN will chime in on this. Pretty sure he installed an Optima in his Explorer. I would be interested in how he dealt with it.

The "Space GhoST" has lost its powers....

I've been thinking about doing that also. So any good ideas are welcome.

    Catalytic converter theft

    1. Good car insurance. 2. Move to a safer area. 3. Concealed carry. Not to much else you can do that I know of. Good luck and enjoy your ST.

    Difference between model years

Here is a long thread talking about the changes between 2020 and now. Good luck. https://www.explorerst.org/threads/what-is-missing-on-the-2022-st-from-factory.3726/

    My 2022 Black ST

Looks good. I would put some never seize on the valve stem caps. Seen a number of posts of them seizing and can't be removed

    Theft

If that's the case you would need the faraday pouch and put the FOB in it every time you got out of the car and locked it. I am not going to do that, if they want it that bad they can have it. Then it becomes my insurance companies problem.
