Driving back fron our vacation, my system crashed and rebooted twice. NEVER did that with the previous firmware. Was just glad it rebooted and wouldn't leave us without music for the 14 hour drive back.

I know it means current location, as i am dutch :) Why would they send a car, bought for NL, from Germany to Chicago, to then ship it back to NL? Like i said, i think all are built in chicago and that Ford AG is just the registrant of the EU Vin codes and that's why itll show up as built in...

I think thats just administrative, who registers the VIN. My dealer told me it was built in Chicago and part of the delays were the transport by boat.

In Germany? I thought all were built in the US? Mine was build march/april of 2022.

Do you perhaps have a service bulletin code? My dealer wants my car to stay there for 2 months!! Got a mustang mach e as loaner, which is very small and uncomfortable for me. Just can't fina a good position in it. So far no news on any work being done to my car so no update on how they will...

Yanking around seems to be Fords MO. I already had a lawyer send them a notice/"letter of default" (not sure thats the correct term).

No not yet, 8th may its going to the dealer for "vibration tests" requested by Ford Cologne (EU technical head office). Also, Ford suggested something in the line of loosening the engine-transfercase mounting as some have come out of the factory out of alignment. Re-align then tighten mounting...

Haha, no such problems. YET Even uploading the log file worked flawlessly.. now waiting for it to be processed by ford as apparently my maps could be updated to F11 or even F12 (whatever that entails)

Same here. At least it updated. Was a pretty quick update too, about 2-3 minutes through USB.

Thanks for the quick reply :) i'd hoped it would improve as it has less to show on the display.. i think i'd wait for an android screen then instead of going this way.
