Double check your hose connections that they’re all on the right connectors. I bet if you unscrewed the can and looked inside, you’d see some oil. It may just not be enough to come out of the drain valve. New catch cans are completely dry so the media inside needs to get saturated before it...

Nope. Had them before and never used them. A good source for squeaks, rattles and leaks.

Either top it off or change it, then check it regularly. I’m changing mine myself now; early, but first oil change is a good idea at low miles. I’ve never bought into the 7,500 or 10,000 mile interval mindset. The manufacturers suggest this so as to advertise lower operating cost. Every 6 months...

Easy there, who said I was upset? I certainly haven’t lost any sleep over my rear defogger. I hate my auto off/start feature too and yes, I turn it off every time I think about it when I start the engine. GM has an ongoing problem with their rear defoggers coming on automatically and shattering...

How many miles since last oil change? Are you certain that it was ever full? Any leaks? All engines will vary slightly from one to another regarding oil consumption. Mine has used none but I only have 1,100 miles on it.

And it also turns on the rear window defogger. I hate that. You need to set it up in settings For the seats but there’s no option for the rear defogger; it just comes on based on temp.

Now I’m really curious. My ST is parked in the garage all week (have a company vehicle) plus I’m out of town. I’ll check it out this weekend.

Great video! Did you also get the upgraded check valves? I just got my kit and I did order those along with the billet PCV but I can’t tell if the check valves are upgraded or not. They look just like yours in your video.

Not sure. I’ll try it out too. Isn’t that the button that turns the actual cruise control on and off? Maybe you need to hit either “resume” or “set” after you press the cruise on/off button when you’ve turned it back on. Sorry man, just going by memory here LOL! I really should go in the garage...

The lane stripes on the road need to be clearly seen by the camera, otherwise it disengages. I’ve noticed on curvy roads, it’s not active that often. It’s really designed more for straight highways with gradual turns I think.

The steering wheel icon only appears when Active Cruise Control is on and active, and you have that feature turned on. If ACC isn’t on, all you’ll get is Lane Departure Warning and that’s the two lines with no steering wheel and that gets activated by the button on the turn signal lever.
