Has anyone added a powered sub? Any audio techs here?

The stock system does not roll off the bass with volume. I would hazard a guess that your powered sub has some protection circuitry.

    Wireless CarPlay

yeah, mine hardly ever works or it may display a track and then not update to the next track. That is fixed with the ANKEWAY? Funny how these different versions are slightly different. Anyways, thank nzaf985 for keeping us updated with the wireless CarPlay for our explorer--you seem to have...

    First Snow Experience

You sure that's not because they are new? Ive had Michelin Pilot A/S over the years and they are not great in snow once they have some miles on them. I have AS4 now too but they are strictly 3 season for me.

    First Snow Experience

I think the Explorer is great in the snow. I have 18" rims with Michelin X-Ice but last year, did not get around to it, and ran the stock Pirelli's and it was passable.

    Rim damage

That really is minor damage. I would probably just do some sanding and use touch up primer then paint.

    Are Aviators Welcome?

I've heard the suspension is slightly different..maybe just the fronts? Can you post pics?

    Bora Spacer Questions

No rub. I'm on Steeda springs. The Bora's aren't cheap. You can certainly find a bunch of Ford-spec generic spacers from China for much cheaper, but I didn't want to risk it!

    Radar Detector Suggestions

R3 is pretty solid. However, I'd reconsider your budget with R4 and R8 out that are a significant bump up in performance.

    Missing Parts

Not sure what the current code is for free shipping but Levittown Ford is a sponsor of that "other" forum. You can ask them in the vendor forum. Edit: Not free shipping anymore.

    Forscan tutorial?

Took a quick look at my windshield wiper park heater grid. You can clearly see two fat tracings at the bottom of the windshield on the passenger side. There are ribbon cables immediately below, underneath the battery compartment cowling, that attaches to something behind the battery. Sorry...

    Forscan tutorial?

I thought you were able to read your modules based on what you wrote in post #6. I don't know if it's because of the HPTuners, but I have Livernois and have no problems doing configuration changes and running service procedures without flashing back to stock.

    Reverse lights

I'd avoid the resister version. They produce a tremendous amount of heat and are unnecessary if you turn off hyper flash with Forscan.

When did Ford remove the temperature display from HVAC controls?

Uh, I thought we were having a discussion. You won't find me engaging in name-calling... EVER. Peace out.

When did Ford remove the temperature display from HVAC controls?

To me it is, when I look down to adjust the controls, I instantly see the temp I'm adjusting. Rationalize the loss all you want. I guess you won't miss what you never had. So much for refined? My 2020 is a Bentley compared to your 2022.

    Reverse lights

Yeah, get a brighter LED replacement and remove hyper flash in Forscan.

    Whistling Noise

Common problem with all years. You certainly can mention to the dealer as the fix varies with the problem. On earlier years, the side mirror housing was the source--they supposedly have a new design that fixes that though. On others, it was the seal on the B pillar. Many have found the...

When did Ford remove the temperature display from HVAC controls?

I have a 2020 and I have both driver and passenger temp at the top of the screen. I have the 10" portrait screen. Sync is 21265 I believe, but pretty sure it was there for 21194 LOL. You like to rationalize all the costcutting by saying it adds no value or is better because it's more...

Drink Can Froze and Broke Open

Second the ozone generator after you clean it up. That said, a fruity smell doesn't compare to kid vomit.

    Steeda springs vs H&R springs

I've had H&R's in two other vehicles. They were similar to what Pelotonracer wrote. That float is controlled with better shocks which we may never see. Somethings gotta give when you have a more comfortable ride AND lower more. Went with Steeda and pretty happy.
