    Window Deflectors

I should thank you! i too signed up for the notification and received nothing. I am too lazy to look up the product again but saw your post and followed your link. i had to do a double take when an actual product was listed. i really only need the fronts but will eventually get rears just to...

Anyone else have mismatched trim fitted to the doors?

I think the parts may have discolored with time. I have an early build 2020 and it has some of the color change but just not as bad as yours. I previously attributed it oxidation from ozone treatments. Now I think maybe it's from UV.

    Window Deflectors

Just ordered a set. They apparently only have the fronts. I don't mind the AVS at all but they are a little too conspicuous for my taste. $81 shipped for the fronts. No rear side window deflectors available apparently.

    How to fix?

Don't we all have those scratches?

    Rear end damage

If i recall, the hybrid Explorer subframe (not including PIU or aviators) is a 3 bolt.

How the heck do I take these off?

IIRC, you just untwist as you pull down on them with a needle nose pliers. I've actually replaced a few for not holding well and having the undercarriage cover flap and make noise. really cheap fastener! You can replace them with a stainless fender washer and nut, ideally with spacer.

    Rear end damage

Well, you can't count the 2.3L Explorers because they are supposed to have the 3 bolt. Some 20% of Explorers are ST reportedly, so that's about 50k out there for MY2021. Only a handful have failed per anecdotal social media reports. The actual number could be far higher, just like those who...

    Rear end damage

Ask them what subframe part is listed on the build sheet for your VIN. If it is the 2.3L subframe... you are SOL--they must have made a running change sometime during MY2021. If it specifies 3.0L subframe then that is what you should have but was replaced with the 2.3L version.... probably at...

When harmless donuts results in AALLLLL the yellow warnings....

i think you may be referring to the multiple faults when a speed sensor fails. maybe your snow escapade somehow disconnected it.

    Found a factory installed dent...

I had a long ripple going down my driver's side door. In the end, I decided not to have it fixed as the "fix" often is worse than the problem.

    Puddle on the tile floor....

check out the trans cooler. many have had theirs replaced. you can see it from the driver's door and might be dripping fluid

    Rear end damage

You are best off contacting some of the members here that are working with their dealers. The hard part is convincing them to replace it even though it hasn't failed yet. For sure mention that you plan to tow. For sure mention you bought the ST so you can have spirited drives. You can...

    Stock shift points and comfort

Try pulling battery terminal and have trans relearn.

    Rear end damage

All I'm saying is they will never just give you the part. You are much better off saying the part is not supposed to be there but is for whatever reason--and get them to fully replace it. The Explorer 3.0L were designed with the 4 bolt subframe. If you've spent a lot of money and have a good...

Anyone using an Autel Maxilink 629 scanner?

If you just want diagnostics, android or iOS "Lite" app is $5.99. For PC laptop use, Forscan can be downloaded from Forscan.org. There is a 2mo free trial you can sign up for. 3yr license is $20. Bluetooth OBDLINK MX+ $120 is great for convenience. Will work for Lite app or PC. You can do...

Anyone using an Autel Maxilink 629 scanner?

You are better off getting Forscan and an approved OBDII adapter for it anyways.

    Rear end damage

You know that will never happen.

    Rear end damage

I doubt this was a transient supply side issue. If that were the case, wouldn't there be reports of 4 bolt STs from 12/20 up until now? That's over a year to have supply chain issues. Meanwhile, Aviator owners that have chimed in report 4 bolts in that same time frame. Granted, forum members...

New Gibson axle-back kit in the works

Unfortunately the stock exhaust has no detachment point just before the mufflers. Cutting is easily done with a reciprocating saw, preferably with metal cutting blade. i personally don't think there is any need to weld. I wish i had removable mufflers when i did the Steeda rear sway bar.
