New Gibson axle-back kit in the works

Sounds good. I'd need 2.25" clamps, correct?

New Gibson axle-back kit in the works

Gibson's website says they are in stock and ship in 2-3 days. You're saying it actually isn't and won't be available for a while? Edit: Gibson rep says they need to make them, maybe 1-1.5 weeks.

Question About Snow Tire Fitment on ST

As above. They might work if they are aftermarket rims with center bore larger than 70.5 that you can use new hub centric rings with. The center bore of the previous Explorer was 63.4mm

New Gibson axle-back kit in the works

Nice option for those that just want the tips changed (if you like their tips) because the price is similar.

    Rear end damage

The Jury is not out. The verdict is in. Ford engineers put the 1 bolt on all 2.3L Explorers and the 2 bolt in 3.0L Explorers and Aviators in MY2020, and at least early MY2021. I'm sure there is good reason for that. Supporting that, the OP got a two bolt subframe as the repair for his...

    Rear end damage

It's not a missing bolt...the entire subframe needs to be swapped out.

    Rear end damage

Yup. It is the 2.3L subframe for 2020. Sounds like a number of 2021 ST's were assembled with them. I'd be curious if 3.0L platinums, king ranches and aviators suffer from this tragic substitution.

    Rear end damage

I wonder if this is proof that the ST should have come with the two bolt subframe but that they sub'd the one bolt of the 2.3L because it was backordered or just sheer mistake.

I bought a 400a and now I have no camera or nav but I saved 4k can I add

Adaptive cruise is the best tech on the car. Great for long trips but also for just commuting if you do a lot of highways. To me, this car is not the same without all the bells and whistles. It is a pain to try to add on the features you wanted... and in some cases, just not practical.

93 Sport Tune - Octane level for regular mode in winter and plenty of snow

A tune normally affects all modes, but the stock adjustments in the modes still get applied. For example, you should not tow with your performance tune even switching to "tow" mode--you need to flash a tow-specific tune or flash to stock. Sport mode shuts off autostart when stock, so that...

93 Sport Tune - Octane level for regular mode in winter and plenty of snow

Are you reverting to stock? The autostart/stop should be off in all modes if that's what you requested in your tune.

If your kids are like mine, you are much better off just getting them their own tablets and sharing wifi via hotspot.

Steeda tower brace and sway bar. Need advice.

I was not saying it's skinnier. It definitely is thicker. But the overall width ( or some would say length) from end-to-end is shorter than stock. That was the problem with version 1 of the bar as people with H&R or stock springs had contact from the angled ends. I just hope they did not...

Steeda tower brace and sway bar. Need advice.

Keep an eye on it. the bar can shift side to side a little.

Steeda tower brace and sway bar. Need advice.

hmmm, that Steeda bar looks significantly more narrow than stock. I thought Steeda revised the bar to avoid contact with the springs? That looks like it could be problematic with stock and H&R springs.

Steeda tower brace and sway bar. Need advice.

Yeah, it's going to be a miserable experience without jacking the rear and putting it on jackstands.

    Wireless CarPlay

Pretty sure I'm up to date. Have had a handful of times it would not connect after car sitting outside in the sun when it was only in the 80s. Have also taken a trip recently and after a few hours of driving, the thing is hot and just shuts down.
