FND Rear Fog Lamps (2020/2021 ST Part)

Couple things for you @Big Turk. Europe requires all vehicles to have a hard brake switch that turns on the hazards. Turning on your hazards on the road and driving is illegal. It is also illegal in the US but people don't follow/enforce those laws. Second, rear fogs are extremely effective in...

    Other turbo upgrade options?

I stand corrected. I did not realize it was an integrated manifold. Please excuse my ignorance on that matter. I am used to older motors.

    Other turbo upgrade options?

I was specifically thinking about the 3 to 1 collection and the turns it would need to make.

    Other turbo upgrade options?

Tmac, you are correct high A/R will spool more slowly. Though the 9174 can be had with an .83 A/R T3 flange so that should provide power relatively similar to the power band of the stock turbos and possibly sooner. The twin scroll version is .92 and you could expect it to spool on par or...

    Other turbo upgrade options?

If I was going to look at anything I'd want a ceramic ball bearing turbo with a slightly higher A/R ratio. Then again that would only be to bring in power a little sooner with a bit more overhead. Ball bearing turbos will spool a fair bit faster and hit max speed sooner. They are also more...

Ford Explorer ST Vehicle Order Tracking

Chances are there are QA issues and the vehicle was taken back to the line to be fixed. Your dealer should be able to see it's actual location.

are you guys wet? or dry on AFE intake setups?

You can see this idea used to create a 'filter' for the MH-53 helicopter. The metal clamshell in front of the intake has little openings that create vortexes as the air is drawn in. It has an actuator that allows the front to open when unrestricted airflow is required to make power. Now the...

    Transmission Issues?

Sport mode hangs dude. It annoys me because it doesn't always do it. Though it really likes to stay in 4th gear. Just slap the right paddle shifter a few times and drive normally. It will drop back into auto mode on its own. The only way you will get better shifting is with a tune.

    Turning Off Highway Warning Notifications

Not sure what setting might work here. Try settings -> navigation -> route preferences Then disable dynamic route guidance. Unfortunately I do not see anything that indicates local hazard information. That setting might do it but it may come with undesirable results since it won't take...

    Turning Off Highway Warning Notifications

Let me check my vehicle when I get home. I was searching online. It might be under another menu. I'll get back with you in an hour or so.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

The product that Unbroken tested on his vehicle is the only aftermarket diff mount I'd use. It ain't cheap but it's designed properly. The link he provided is: https://idspeedshop.com/id-speed-2020-explorer-st-rear-diff-brace/

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Ford engineering has given you the feedback in the recall. You are free to use that information as you choose. If the diff didn't move that much then the OE bolts wouldn't be bending and breaking. They aren't using the proper mounts because they either cheaped out or they ran out of stock. You...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Which ironically is exactly how it breaks the OEM bolt. The recall documents really do the best job at describing the issue. "The joint design is not robust to peak axle input torques and manufacturing variability. The primary contributor is insufficient bearing area for maximum joint loads...

    Water in passenger foot area

I will never own another massive moonroof. My Jetta sportwagen gave me my fill of dealing with water intrusion. Thankfully the second and third times only filled my spare location with water. The first time was covered by the CPO. It isn't worth paying them 1500 dollars for the risk of having...

    Water in passenger foot area

Battery cover or moonroof drains. You can check the battery cover easily by just popping the hood. The cover should be firmly snapped in place and resting against the rubber. It is on your passenger side.
