What is the complete SYNC version you have? There is more than 3.4

If you can do it with wifi that would be great. My wifi in the garage is not to good so I didn't try to. The USB worked well for me.

I did not try WIFI as mine is not good in the garage. Just used the computer and USB to do it.

I would update it with the USB. I do like keeping my software on every thing as up to date as I can. Been home bound since the update so i can't say if there are any noticeable changes of not.

Ebay would be a place to look for it also.

I would try updating the SYNC software to the one that just came out version 22200. That is if it will let you update. If I remember right that version 19200 was problematic.

The master reset is what resets SYNC. A new update just came out today. If you can't download it from WiFi, Download it to a computer and use a flash drive to install to your ST.

You might try doing a master reset. It's in the touch screen under setting. I don't know if it will help but the only thing you have to lose is your time.
