    Tirerack mobile installation

Had this mobile service done today. Got 275/45R-21 MICHELIN PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4 on the stock 21" rims. The tires were shipped from Tirerack to their mobile installer (ASAP) and you just need to schedule an appointment online after purchase. Basically, you can pick AM or PM and...

    Park Aid Fault message

Once in a blue moon, I will get any number of faults. Never any lasting problems though so unless you keep getting it, I wouldn't worry too much.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Did they do this after you purchased the old design? I can't tell from their listing that they revised the design. I would have also liked to see the inner tray dividers to have a handle that you could grab to lift the tray out to get to the console bottom easily. That and a front lip would...

    Steeda Sway Bar Limits

Never tried the other settings, but the stiffest setting has always performed great.

    Strut tower brace

Thanks for the review and pic. You pushed me over the edge. The sale price and free shipping never hurt, either.

    Husky Liner

That is super nice. I definitely wish I would have waited. Now have two full size cargo mats, neither of which is satisfying and don't want to throw more money at it. I do wish the Husky liners covered the 3rd row arm rests though. One of my mats doesn't cover this either and there is...

    MPG/Mechanical Issues after Modifications

pretty safe with just Steeda springs and sway bar, which I highly recommend.

    Pissy Smell

Don't know about piss odors but with two young kids, and especially after long trips, I get some off-putting smells regularly. The OE filters are pretty cheap and easy to install. I also use an ozone generator every few months after giving the interior a good clean. Works well. This model is...

    Gear indicator

It'll show if you are in manual shift mode or if you use the paddle shifters. Some tunes will show the gear all the time.

    ST vs Aviator

Pretty much the same infotainment system.

    2023 Refresh?

I would expect Sync 4, maybe wireless Carplay. I wouldn't be surprised if more features are stripped, lol.

    Wireless CarPlay

I really can't tell if the Mini is any faster or sounds any better. It does suffer from the same heat issues as the larger Carlinkit--when used on long trips or if you park you car outside on a hot sunny day. Still, most of the time, the mini or the regular Carlinkit works fine and I'm pleased...

H&R Springs & Bora Spacers Installed!

I have Bora F/R 1.25/1.5 and while i will admit i don't like the look of them poking out, i feel the handling improvement is definitely noticeable because of the wider track.

UPR Drain Plug or UPR Drain Valve?!?!

I'd keep the stock drain plug if I were you. Otherwise you'll be paranoid that they threw out your upgraded plug with each oil change. Even if DIY, vacuum extraction from the dipstick is the way to go.

2021 Engine light on...anybody else have one?

I'd recommend either OBDLINK EX https://www.amazon.com/OBDLink-EX-FORScan-OBD-Adapter/dp/B081VQVD3F OBDLink EX FORScan OBD Adapter - Amazon.com OBDLINK MX+ https://www.amazon.com/OBDLink-Bluetooth-Professional-Grade-Diagnostic-Performance/dp/B07JFRFJG6 OBDLink MX+ OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner for...

    Hard shifts

I have Livernois. In normal mode, 1-2 shift seems long with a slight pause then lurch into gear, especially when cold. The other shifts are mostly fine. In sport mode, all shifts seem smooth and fast--it is actually a much smoother ride. I asked Livernois if they used Sport mode to tune the...

Steeda tower brace and sway bar. Need advice.

Have you seen the bars in person? The FenFab bar is just a cheap aluminum alloy bar for Corolla and flexes quite a bit (per Corolla owners, lol). The Steeda definitely looks beefier but ultimately, the OE brace is plenty good.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I never liked the plastic tabs to hook the cargo divider to. There is already a lower tie down..just repaced the tabs up above.
