People have been reporting that Sync 21020 with no traffic data or intermittent traffic. 21098 may have fixed it but the jury is still out.

Can't really tell anything from your photo. Many people have small paint issues and blebs under the paint. Being that your car is used, it is doubtful you can do anything under warranty.

Once in a blue moon, I will get loss of power after applying throttle. Car barely moves even with more throttle. I usually let off and reapply throttle...power is slowly restored. Not sure what that's about but has happened about 3 times in 2 years.

Tune wouldn't do that. Key thing is "screen went black". Not sure if you mean sync or dash but that's not good. Hopefully a fluke. I'd use forscan to see if any codes were thrown.

just blip the upshift paddle when you decide to coast. All depends what gear you are in and what speed. I've never noticed the effect mainly because in sport I like to use the paddles.

I haven't tried it in a while but ford waze was low res and had slow refreshes. Painful. Waze iOS introduced bugs to Carplay so i stopped using it and deleted it off my phone. Using Apple maps now and hope users start reporting speed traps like they do for Waze. Doesn't have the features...

Both Sync 21020 and map NA 2.20 are now rolling out from Ford. You may as well take that approach now rather than doing it the Cyanlabs way. If you do decide to use Cyanlabs, install 21020 first. then go back and run Syncupdater "ci" branch and select update map only. Do NOT do any reformat...

I don't think Sync updates will add any functionality. They will be about ongoing bug fixes and functionality that was originally intended. I bet most of their people have shifted over to Sync 4 so you won't see much in the way that is new for us.

If it was working before, try a battery disconnect or pulling the fuse or module reset in Forscan (if available).

Mine is left side also. Highway speeds and sounds like it's coming from the B-pillar. I was going to remove the trim some day and see what I can see. I never paid much attention to it until I took an 11 hour road trip the the beach.

If you have a good high amp charger connected, you can use ACC and then every half hour or so, open the door so the car doesn't time out. You can easily update 3.4 21020 and then map NA 2.20 (separately).
