    Do Ford pass rewards expire?

I wouldn't wait. They extended the expiration due to the pandemic but I think your 11/2019 purchase points may be expiring soon.

    Sync 3 software update downloading

You need to update to 21020 separately from the maps. The maps is what previously needed downgrade and reformat using Cyanlabs, but that process is left without drivers for the display. Just use Sync3Updater to upgrade to 21020. For the NA 2.20 maps...

    pelotonracer2's build

Usually when you are using automatic shifting, it'll display "D". HP Tuners platform can display D1, D2, D3... etc. all the time. Normally, you only see the gear when manual shifting-- or when you blip the gear paddles up or down, but only lasting a few seconds. Of course, if UCal is only the...

    pelotonracer2's build

Interesting. The device looks identical to the Livernois device which if you go to their website, are trying to get tuners to use. You definitely can datalog with it as a standalone. But I'd say, if it is a Livernois device, they haven't figured out how to display gears all the time. I'd ask...

    pelotonracer2's build

Just curious, why are you going from HP Tuner RTD to UCal? Isn't that a downgrade? If the UCal is the Livernois device, I don't know if the options available are the same. For instance, displaying gear all the time is something that HP Tuner can do but not Livernois.

Oil barley touching the dip stick 1000 miles

Hard to say if anything is wrong unless you checked the dipstick when new and it was full. I'm at 8500 mi since my last oil change and it is on the low side on the dip stick.

    Tirerack mobile installation

Recently, my favorite tire place that was super close closed up shop. I was lamenting the options that I had left and it wasn't good. Then I was looking at the tire options for our ST and up popped a new service offered by Tirerack, local mobile installation by ASAP (a Tirerack company) that...

    Weird SYNC 3 Question?

Cyanlabs usually gets builds and maps early. 21020 is current there, and so is map NA 2.20. Neither are currently available for download through Ford's owner site. 20351 and NA 119 are the current "official" versions.

When pressing down gas pedal all the way...to speed up quickly...long lag from 1st to second.

Seldom. Usually when car not fully warmed up. Much improved with a tune.

    Do Ford pass rewards expire?

I used mine on an alignment after I installed the Steeda springs. Not sure I'll use what's left over. I DIY oil changes and going to the dealer for some parts just isn't worth my time.

    Carly now supports Ford

That would be nice if they made it easy to configure some settings like you can with BMW. Doubt they could find anything more than Forscan already does, but they could make it more convenient. Then again, maybe there's a reason why Forscan Lite doesn't do configuration changes. I still have...

    Shark Fin

I wouldn't be surprised if they temporarily ran out of painted sharkfin and just subbed the unpainted ones.

    Steeda Lowering Springs Install

Just go to a shop that routinely does lowering springs installs and reuse the bolts. With H&R and Eibach based in Germany, I'd think that would be an easy task.

    AC?

Well that blows. You should get Forscan and a cable and find out what the check engine light is all about. There are plenty of non-essential error codes that don't light up. I'd be worried if one did.

I apologize if someone has already answered- Forscan codes for ST?

Hey, I have the MX+ too. I love the convenience of it... iOS, Android, Windows--check, check, check! But if i was only going to get one, I would recommend the EX.

I apologize if someone has already answered- Forscan codes for ST?

The OBDLINK EX is almost a gold standard of recommended cable for Forscan. Under development is updating modules. You can do that with the EX but not the MX+. Besides, the EX is way cheaper than the MX+ and no switch to deal with unlike generic cables.

POLICE INTERCEPTOR RIMS - 2021 ST

Canadian Ford dealers can get you the interceptor rims for cheap.

I apologize if someone has already answered- Forscan codes for ST?

https://forscan.org/download.html You'll need a windows PC and I'd recommend the OBDLINK EX cable. After you download the latest version of forscan, get the free 2 month trial of the extended license and register your forscan. You can buy a license after that if you find Forscan useful and...

Interceptor amber DRL's on Explorer St

I wonder if the F150 method works: https://www.f150forum.com/f118/setting-parking-lights-drls-great-find-380225/index2/#post5286446 Edit: tried to change the DRL to amber only. Checksum error. The F150 As-Built method doesn't work.
