    Washing the Explorer today and was drying the door jams. Where the hinge strap attaches to the door it looks like the picture below. Both front doors are like this. The rear doors have covers on them as pictured. Can someone check their front doors and see if they have covers? Thanks.

    Bird droppings on paint

    Did you give it a good bucket wash with car wash and a cloth? that should take anything with the exception of rail dust and tar off your paint. Factory paint is usually resilient to bird poop.
