What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

This 3 day day weekend gave me the opportunity to finally install the Whipple intercooler and the aFe cold air intake. I stacked the factory intake on top of the Whipple as a size reference for those that haven't seen them side by side.

    JDM Engineering

It will only disable for each run function, pressing the button the center console, and then next time you start it again it does it again.

Going to be installing the Whipple IC and aFe cold air intake this weekend on my wife's St and will purchase a tune after that. Interested on how you JDM tune works out. Do you know if they can eliminate the auto start/stop function?

    Bad MPG

If it is running good, don't worry about it until the motor breaks in. Do like the other suggest, reset the mpg and run a few tanks of gas through it.

    Bad MPG

22 mpg is normal (wife driving) for us in a mixed driving (city/highway) in the Houston area. With me driving it is more like 18 mpg. 34 psi tire pressure running 93. We have 12k miles on it now and seems to have settled out.

Nice work. You do you. I love seeing what people do to personalize there cars across all formats. Doesn't mean that I will do it to my vehicle, but sparks inspiration and garners appreciation for making it their own. Shit, I wanna see someone put Swangaz and Vogues on their ST.

    Oil change schedule

Every 5k miles for me also. Already have 11k miles on our '22 we picked up in February, so two oil changes already. I have always done this in all vehicles we have owned and run full synthetic.

    Black lug nuts

I have a set of Gorilla lugs from Summit, https://www.summitracing.com/parts/GOR-96643BDX, on mine but if you are looking for just the plain lugs this is the route to go. https://threadstrong.us/collections/ford-replacement-wheel-fasteners/products/ford-explorer-black-wheel-nut-set-of-4

    Any thoughts on this radar?

Agreed. I run Max 360's in both my vehicles and pick up the "instant on" all the time at distances far enough that I can adjust. I use it in combination with the Escort Live app that lets people mark speed traps and your radar will let you know similar to Waze. @STupidExplorer Spend your money...

    EU cargo shade

Too bad our rear cargo panels don't have the groves to latch the cover in place near the gate.
