    So this happened today...

The carplay issue is the WAZE app bug that is rearing it's ugly head yet again.

    UNBROKEN’s Iconic Silver ST build

Cool. I'm wondering if you are lowered, should you also run shortened sway bar end links.

Sync Issue with Carplay only showing "Prompt" volume

You up to date on the iOS (incl. carplay) and Waze? I thought this was fixed a month or two ago.

    So my first mod/upgrade...

I don't think there is a Forscan fix for us. $99 is expensive but if it means that much to you, it is worth it. I think though that if anyone is thinking about a tune, it can be turned off that way as well.

2021 Ford Explorer gets price cut, Explorer ST kicking off at $53,850, saving $2,135 compared to 2020

Telluride, Pallisade, Ascent, Atlas... standard mill 3 row SUVs. Sure you can argue the ST trounces the competition in power but we lag in other areas like interior quality.

    Steeda Sway Bar Hitting Spring

maybe a metal shop can cut off the ends. Telling you, the closest hole (stiffest) is all you need if you don't need off-road capability. I think it's ideal at that setting for street. If it were me id put a cutting wheel on an angle grinder and cut right at the middle holes.

    Steeda Sway Bar Hitting Spring

yikes. that is unusual. i am not sure the collars would help. you don't have much clearance when the bar is centered. question is, why??

    Steeda Sway Bar Hitting Spring

The other thing is maybe H&R and Steeda springs have smaller diameter allowing Unbroken and I to not have issues. Otherwise those collars that Unbroken found are probably just the ticket. edit: added pics of both sides

    Steeda Sway Bar Hitting Spring

As I mentioned in the other thread, the brackets have very large holes and there is some play in their positioning. In your pic, you have that particular mount dead center (from the looks of it). You need to move it inward (to the left in your pic) so that the bushing touches the bar's tab on...

Steel wheel alternatives in 21" for winter tires?

$100 for each TPMS is highway robbery!!!

Steel wheel alternatives in 21" for winter tires?

I thought they were even cheaper than that. Like CDN$120 and $60 for each wheel and TPMS respectively. Edit: maybe that's not including the center caps...

Steel wheel alternatives in 21" for winter tires?

For the record, mine are aftermarket 18" rims made by KMC. I did a search for what rims fit for a 2020 Explorer ST on the Tirerack website. Came out to $1700 for rims, TPMS, lugnuts and a set of 255/65/18 Michelin X-Ice XI2. If you want PIU steel 18" rims, your best bet is the Ford dealer. I...

    Winter Tires and Rims

the price you canucks can get the police interceptor rims makes it an easy choice. just make sure it's for 2020--older explorer rims wont fit due to wheel center bore.

Steel wheel alternatives in 21" for winter tires?

yes. maybe not all 18" alloys though. I have an 18" set from Tirerack. The police interceptor has upgraded brakes just like our ST. Make sure you pay attention to wheel bore size which is increased from previous explorers.

2021 Ford Explorer gets price cut, Explorer ST kicking off at $53,850, saving $2,135 compared to 2020

I think many 2020 owners got a substantial discount with rebates and all. Nobody was paying close to MSRP. I think Ford really didn't do their homework when it came to assessing the competition. It looked bad when a fully loaded ST rang up $10k more than a fully loaded any other 3rd row SUV...

Steel wheel alternatives in 21" for winter tires?

You do not want 21" winter rims and tires! Doesn't make any sense from a performance standpoint. Looks for 18" rims and winter tires. You can get the intercepter rims or just go with some cheap alloy wheels. Just make sure the Intercepter steelies are for 2020. The older ones won't fit.

    ST Accessories/Modifications

Post #70 (on page 4?) of this thread has the correct link. Unfortunately, the website picture is wrong so people keep asking if that is the right one.

    Livernoise tune

The Livernois tune is not a custom tune. The performance tune I got is for 91-93 octane. Those two facts tell me you probably aren't going to get the maximum performance that a custom tune will get you from datalogging your vehicle. I would also take absolute numbers with a grain of salt...

    H&R lowered side pic

The stock one may not be pretty, but it should work just fine. I'm sure you'll see some aftermarket replacements soon enough that will claim to be beefier and look better.

    H&R lowered side pic

I'm not sure the front sway bar is worth replacing. To my surprise, the stock one is pretty beefy.
