    Bora wheel spacers

I'd rather not have my wife know I bought some more car parts.. I do have a set of torque limiting extension bars?

    Bora wheel spacers

How do you torque these things down without the rotor turning?

    Installed Livernois Tune

Yeah, just wait until the trans relearns. I think the shifting (once warmed up) is great and I use Normal most of the time. I reverted to stock in anticipation of getting some modules updated and the stock shifting doesn't compare.

    The Covid Vaccine....Opinions

Interesting. The liberals here seem to think Trump botched the vaccine rollout. But every anesthesiologist in America that wants one has gotten at least their first vaccination and most, two. The limiting factor, far and away, is the actual vaccine production. Plenty of outlets to get...

2020 Explorer/Aviator Module Updates by Ford

Yeah, it does say "update prior to sale". I'm going to hit up Ford's customer support number to see what they say. I do have odd issues with the APIM and shifting that might be solved with an update. I definitely want to get this done before warranty ends and I'm getting close, mileage wise.

    The Covid Vaccine....Opinions

It's totally unpredictable who will do well with Covid and who will die. The death rate is low. But even if you survive, doesn't mean you won't have lasting health issues from it. Unless you have already recovered from Covid this past year, I would definitely get the shot(s). But hey, if you...

    ST badge overlays F&R

just buy a sheet of self-adhesive vinyl and go at it with an exacto knife. Many use the carbon fiber look vinyl that they already have from other projects.

did you try replacing your keyfob battery? for whatever reason, mine seems to work less reliably in winter.

    Opinions on ‘used’ 2020 ST

Yes, 7/2019 is an early build. My build was just a month earlier 6/25/2019. I've had no major issues but consider myself fortunate. If it was not sold until 7/28/2020 it almost certainly was a demo or given for use to a high ranking employee (ie. manager). It's strange someone bought it and...

    Opinions on ‘used’ 2020 ST

That is the going rate for a brand new 2020. I would look at a used 2020 with low miles as being very suspicious. A lot of 2020's had early production problems that Ford just could not figure out after the sale and were bought back. AVOID.

    Tuning for dummies

You can't. That option assumes you already have the device--no doubt that you are using on another vehicle.

    Tuning for dummies

You are not going to get much gain with 87. If that's what you want to use, why bother with a tune? If you do have a tune and want to run 87 for a fillup or for a while as a temporary measure, don't even worry if they offer an 87 tune, just load up the stock calibration. FWIW, I would...

    360 camera re-calibration?

I don't remember the birds eye view camera doing this when new. when i park into a parking spot, i hit the camera button on the dash to see if I've pulled forward enough. it seems the front view is not aligned with the sides. does anyone else's do this or should i bring it in for re-calibration?

Consumer Reports: 2020 Ford Explorer Drives Nicely but Has Many Flaws

Mopar is Fiat motors no? I don't consider them American any more than Kia.

Consumer Reports: 2020 Ford Explorer Drives Nicely but Has Many Flaws

I wouldn't rag on Consumer Reports. The Explorer loses just about every comparo ever written. The Telluride is a great buy if what your looking for is a generic 3 row SUV. If it weren't for the ST trim, how many of us would be in an Explorer? There's not a lot of choice for a performance SUV...

2020 Explorer/Aviator Module Updates by Ford

Anyone know how we could get a copy of this or will the dealer already know about this by name 20U29? My Explorer is a very early build and I am looking forward to updating some of the systems to current versions. It is never good to be an early adopter but this really helps.

    Head/Tail light Tinting

I wouldn't try anything with a lot of curves/bends if you are using a pre-cut kit and don't have a lot of experience. There is no room for error.

    Sync 3 software update downloading

I think 20282 is the best yet. No major issues so far and I've noticed quite a few running through the different versions since 7/2019. I think if you have issues and have not done a factory reset when upgrading for several versions, now may be a good time to do so. It is not much of a pain...
