    Steeda vs H&R

For sure either spring will control body motions a lot better than stock, and even putting the rear sway bar on the stiffest setting helps to restrain the suspension. The ride is less jiggly not only on the highway be especially on city streets. Honestly though, I wish Bilstein would put out a...

    Livernoise tune

I think you ZFG guys are getting way overworked about all this. In no way is he saying he got 4.0. Is he in the 4s range? Quite possibly. Like I said before, anyone who gets worked up about the numbers or is wanting to be top dog or enjoys putting "lesser" tunes down should NOT be getting...

Street Pak winter wheels and tires

Odd. I ordered a year ago and the Tirerack website returned quite a few 18" rims, but by no means, all 18's that they carry. I think as long as your offsets aren't out of line and the wheel bore is large enough to fit the appropriate hubcentric ring, it should be fine. The KMC KM708 i got...

Looking for some forum ideas and feedback

Just wanted to say this is an excellent forum. Nice layout and features.

    Livernoise tune

Agreed. Unlike some of their other tunes that have 93 separate from 91, they just have a 91-93 octane for our Explorer--to me that just says they didn't want to be bothered. They also don't want to look into displaying the gear all the time, like other tuners can enable. I suspect unless...

    Winter tires

Get yourself a separate set of tires and rims. I'd recommend 18" rims and 255/65/18 tires. I got mine from Tirerack.

    FordPass software update

I got that exact same message... on Sept 2, 2020.

    Floor Liners

You are lucky. I had cheap thin carpet in mine and had to order the Ford all weather liners. They are great, I'll agree with you.

    Sun roof leak?

Well that sucks. Definitely a leak somewhere.

Ordering 2021 ST - Street pack?

Must have in my opinion. The brakes are great and the stock 21" wheels are the first set I have no plans on replacing.

2021 Ford Explorer ST videos on Youtube

Thanks for posting the links. The polished interior pieces are definitely a step in the right direction. They should have furthered that and eliminated all the cheap looking plastics. Someday I hope to replace all that with the newer pieces.

    Multiple Sync Problems

You need to hit the dealer. If you have nothing on the front dash ("instrument cluster"), that is a safety issue and shouldn't happen. Your other stuff is minor but still not normal.

    Steeda Sway Bar Hitting Spring

So you didn't need to return it? If so, I'd call that a win and just cut the bar ends to leave one hole. I'm shocked they don't appear to have modified the design as it is problematic with stock and also maybe H&R springs.

    Paddle shifter extensions

Just wanted to report that I got the paddle shifter extensions from AliExpress today. It took 2 weeks 5 days. It was sent using their standard shipping method and tracking was reasonably good. I ordered Black and it did indeed have the "Savanini" etched in. Am spray painting with Rustoleum...

    Winter Tires and Rims

Maybe it is economy of scale. Maybe the number of interceptor rims that are sold for winter rims in Canada is much much higher given the climate and mandates for winter tires.

Best tune for 2020 Ford Explorer ST

OK thanks. I thought that was an enable/disable toggle. I guess they deactivate it in the tune.

Best tune for 2020 Ford Explorer ST

On the Livernois, it is a dash option that you can check or uncheck.

    Winter Tires and Rims

In the States, the interceptor rims are $300+ for some reason. Add sensors, wheel caps and you've got your $2000.

Sport Mode - transmission downshift is jerky

I would suggest disconnecting the battery for a few minutes and having the transmission relearn. Helped me out with shifts. I would also look underneath the driver's side door at the transmission cooler and make sure you don't have an oil leak.
