The worst one is the reverse active braking, backing up into driveway it sees a pole in the distance that Im nowhere close to impacting and slams the brakes on which feels almost the same as impacting the pole. Scared the *&^% out of me. Very poor engineering in my humble opinion.

Another feature of the SYNC2/3/4 system that keeps it continually rated by customers as the least reliable multimedia software from any of the big three. Go use MyLink or CUE or U-Connect then compare to any SYNC product. Its actually embarrassing how poorly engineered the product is.

That isn't an OEM feature if you have seen it on a PIU its an aftermarket add on. My understanding from the Police Program Ford Engineers is that FMVSS rules dont allow Ford to sell it with that feature. I will make some inquiries

That doesn't surprise me anymore, everytime there is a TSB or SSM the dealer tells me they never heard of it and its not coming up when they run my VIN so they won't do it. Ford is brutal for this kind of communication to its dealer network.
