Welcome to SYNC3 and its performance, that's one of the reasons SYNC is the lowest ranked multimedia software of the big 3. SYNC4 isn't much better, Mach E boot up is just as slow. Very poorly executed. If you get a chance use U-Connect and see how it performs.....right now its the benchmark.

As we continue to be disappointed every time a new build is introduced for SYNC3 it's becoming apparent where all the Ford multimedia software resources are going now. Forget the loyal long time customer lets go after the new ones with a shiny object...

Build 22048 now available on Cyanlabs site

Who told you that, I talked to one of the Engineers on Explorer and he said that's not true at all. The 22 comes standard RWD and AWD is an option. The 21 was standard AWD with no RWD option on the ST. Check out the 2022 Order Guide snapshot below, the STAR after RWD means new this Model Year...

My CAP sources say we aren't getting that in North America.

On one of the other forums it was mentioned that build 22020 has been abandoned after testing and they are now testing build 22048 Translating that = months away

The latest from Ford site is 21194 but the latest available is a pre released 22020. We are all waiting for the official release.

My Ford Owner site still says No SYNC3 Update available

I think when the CEO (Mark Fields) punches the screen in his company vehicle and cracks the screen because his SYNC system froze its likely a sign your multimedia software needs to be better. Just my opinion.

You do realize that SYNC2 and SYNC3 were major contributors as to why Ford sank so low in Customer satisfaction results right? Its negative thinking to ask for a multimedia system that's as good as or better than the competition?

We will have to see what is officially released. I have seen it before where Cyanlabs does a release and it takes a month for Ford to do their release and it's a different build. But your right, be prepared to be disappointed.

Looks like CyanLabs has released the next build for SYNC3 its build 22020 but early reviewer's not overly impressed yet again. Expectations of 10" screen optimization have not materialized in this version. I'm waiting for official release on Ford Owners site before I update.
