You don't have to pull the A pillar trim you can use a plastic trim tool and tuck the wire behind it. Mine is an OBDII tap and you see nothing, front and rear camera wires totally unseen. I thought about mirror tap as well but it was suggested to me that with the new vehicles the CANBUS...

I figured it out, you guys have the new center cap design. I have the old one from CVPI. Your's are the correct ones for that wheel, mine are not.

How did you get the center caps over the stock 21" Performance Wheel lug nuts? I had to buy the police wheel steel lug nuts at $5 each. Torque specs on the Police wheels were a little higher than retail I think it was 110 ft lbs

Thinkware uses micro USB on my Q800Pro I bought their OBDII power tap so no need to buy fuse taps, very clean easy to pull out if vehicle sold.

Great write up I did almost exact same install. For anyone looking at a F/R camera consider Thinkware Q800PRO. The entire Thinkware line up is good.

Antennas are a big part of the Police upfit, Ford Engineers have looked at the structures of the roof aluminum and supports. I would recommend you read through the Ford Police Interceptor Modifiers Guide before adding anything.

We are creatures of habit, anything we don't know how to use comfortably is often disregarded as useless. I felt the same then after multiple uses and a developed muscle memory it became second nature. I would suggest very shortly you wont get a choice it will be standard on new vehicles.
