    Axle oil change

For the 2020 Explorer the specs are on pages 400 and 401 of the owners manual. I don't know the pages if you have a 2021.

Sync 3.4 Update (Build 21020) Now Available on the Owner Site

I just had mine in service today for this issue. Also I have a case number opened with Ford on it. After running some tests today they did find some codes telling them to check for a number of things. Such as the ACM, the APIM and some wiring and grounds. They are going to need it for at least a...

    Paint Problems

I purchased mine the same way. Dealer 1.5 hours away had the exact Explorer I was looking for. After a couple weeks a pin head size of paint popped on the rear hatch. So I took it to the closest dealer to me about 30 minutes away. They took pictures to get it approved from Ford and a day or 2...

    Cutout on passenger front bumper

Here's a picture of a newer Explorer after Ford deleted the tow eye. As you can see there is not a spot to mount it under that panel.

    Cutout on passenger front bumper

I think that is for the tow hook if your Explorer is equipped for it. It was deleted as a running change,

    HomeLink Circuit (fuse)

I didn't find the fuse location. But here are the directions to clear all the homelink buttons. Not sure it will help but might be worth a try. Clearing a HomeLink Device To erase programming from the three HomeLink buttons press and hold the two outer HomeLink buttons until the indicator light...

    Electric Brake Controller (Curt Echo)

That may a better solution but I only suggested calling Curt as it sounds like their customer service is pretty good. Down side is I did not find a way to call them until Monday and not sure if that meets your needs. Good luck with it. Dale

    Passenger side mirror

That's what I was thinking. A lot of them have nation wide connections and they might need it I doubt there are a lot of ST's in the bone yard yet.

    Electric Brake Controller (Curt Echo)

Did you try calling Curt about it? I think they are closed now.

    Electric Brake Controller (Curt Echo)

Hey Ron, I took that info from the instructions for the controller. They mention some Ford pickups that do that and I'm guessing the Explorer might to. If I remember right, I checked the 7 wire on mine with a test light and I didn't find a hot wire on it. Check page 1 of the instructions and you...

    Electric Brake Controller (Curt Echo)

Did you try connecting the trailer to it? Some new vehicles require the trailer be connected to activate the 12V power wire.

It might be worth trying a master reset on your SYNC. GO to Setting/General/MasterReset The acc power must be on to do this.

The only vehicles I seen that are getting it are the F150 and the Mustang Mach-E.
