The beast is currently with Brett at FenFabrication for a cold air intake and upgraded intercooler piping. Also swapping the Boomba VTA for the TurboSmart BOV - I doubt it will make much difference but with all these mods I said why not try it and possibly help spool a bit with dual port design...

Brett told me the same - a Ford engineer recommended that as the easiest route. He may make a step by step install video with Fat Guy Builds soon.

Correct. Post-cat sensors are for emission purposes only. The defoulers prevent any chance of CEL issues due to higher flowing cat or absence of cat. We did not try to run my high flow cat without defoulers so I don't know for sure it would have caused CEL issue without it.

It sounded like he was going to add that as an option soon in the checkout but if you don’t see it I would just email him. The exhaust is a little more complicated and he’s going to think about it but yes I agree there would be some demand. He’s doing a custom intake and IC piping for me soon...

looks good! I assume taking Explorer letters off is same as any other emblem - heat it up, fishing line, then clay bar, polish, seal etc? I’m so sick of my sponge getting caught in the letters and it always looks dirty in the small spaces of the letters

im getting that along with intercooler piping done at same time so we’ll see! The best valid time I have is 3.91. I got 3.84 on what I thought was perfect road but came back invalid with a slope of -1.5% grrr

Car is headed back to same shop for intercooler piping and custom intake. I just made a bunch of Amazon purchases to attempt to take quality video/audio of my setup as the iPhone wasn’t cutting it. I’ll post some content in a few days.
