Ours became intermittent last week just as we started on vacation for ST Experience day. It is now a permanent failure. Just returned from dealer, who ordered a module, and Yes he said they are back-ordered, and No he doesn't know for how long. We are at about 2500 miles on the odo.

I hear ya. But I kinda like seeing the diff cover and bolts. I went back to page 1 to see a photo of the deflector. Seems like a felt sound isolator? Besides some aftermarket company will come out with a techno diffuser for under the bumper soon enough.

We just did the ST SUV Experience yesterday. None of the dozen or so Explorers had the rear diffuser installed.

Yeah, we tried a darker piece, too, but then it was too dark. Hard to see the badge, and yet not fully blacked-out, so we went back to the 30-35% tint. Couple of weeks now and I'm still satisfied.

I just don't think you will need protection there. Order OEM parts at a good discount from Levittown or AutoNation Ford parts.

What do you mean by lower sides? I installed splash guards which will stop pebbles being thrown by the tires. BTW OEM splash guards were the easiest install ever.

I will need 2 fuse taps actually. Do you recall what you used for a ground post? Do you run rear cam and if so did you route the cable through the hatch loom?

Wondering what others' experience has been on which are best fuse choices for 12V power, and Switched Auxiliary power? Also I have yet to spot a ground lug nearby the interior fusebox.
