    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

Just a random thought here. The Ford website would not recognize any VINs for 2022 models for the map update until about November 2022. Is there maybe a similar issue with the Sync update? Is there any correlation between model years and whether the Sync confirmation works?

    Lumbar setting drif?

Just checking to make sure you know the lumbar settings are part of the driver memory seat settings. Lumbar settings can be locked in for three different drivers. Sorry if you are already doing this, but just making sure.

    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

In my case, update confirmation from wifi will not work either. More than two months after doing the update (and uploading confirmation through the website) the confirmation has never shown. Also, before I did the update via USB the car always said it was up to date, so updating by wifi was...

    2023 Ford Explorer Order Guide

The Premium Technology package with massage seats has never gone away from the Dealer Order Guide. Instead, they created the Technology package without the massage seats as an additional option. This way they can order/build one or the other depending on what parts are available, and there...

    Doors Lock Automatically

Exactly what did you shut off? I have never seen an option for that. Can you describe the menu item?

What is missing on the 2022 ST from factory

The NON-Premium just means the massage seats are not included. This is how they list it when parts are not available for the massage seats. The reversible load floor and the all weather mat under the load floor are only included in the Cargo Management option. The roof rails were an option...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Not an idiot. I brought it up because someone else here was doing that.

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

Are you sure you are pressing the e-brake button to release it and not pulling up on it?

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

I have never taken mine in for the recall since it is a worthless fix. I always press the e-brake button anyway. I always assumed if the recall is installed that you could still release the e-brake first before driving away. Are others seeing that you have to press the gas in gear to get the...

Secure Code door keypad may be deleted

I really don't think Ford has any interest in changing to a stick-on keypad. The dealer will add the stick-on if it did not come from the factory with one wired in. They have a forty year history with the built in keypad and are proud of the flush mount they now use. I was not aware there...

Secure Code door keypad may be deleted

I like mine too. Interesting that the dealer add-on one that GM sells for their cars uses the same set of extra numbers for opening doors, hatch, locking, etc. as Ford does.

Secure Code door keypad may be deleted

Everyone has their own opinions on what they use and like, and what they don't. That is the way it should be but I have read surveys of Ford owners where most say one of the features they really like is the door keypad. It does set the Fords apart. GM since about 2015 has offered a dealer...

Secure Code door keypad may be deleted

I also don't like the hidden design on my 2022. It shuts off after exactly five days, and the buttons are not very convenient to use. Both my older Explorers have the easy to use mechanical buttons and they never shut down. Ford only briefly used the hidden buttons on the F150 but returned to...

    Seat memory while driving

When your key fob is programmed the seat will move to your position when you touch the door handle to unlock it. But that is not part of MyKey. MyKey is a separate feature to limit certain selected operations of the vehicle. Linking a PreSet Position to your Remote Control Your vehicle can save...
