2025 Headliner Exposed at Drivers Door

The dealer has already fixed misaligned body panels and other loose trim pieces. This is the last item and they've ordered a new headliner. Sucks that we didn't notice these items during test drive and/or delivery inspection. Also sucks that this was in Chicago for two plus months on QA hold and...

2025 Headliner Exposed at Drivers Door

Fully seated weather gasket exposes headliner: Gasket has to be pulled this far down to cover the headliner: It seems like the headliner is cut wrong or doesn't conform up to fit under gasket.

2025 Headliner Exposed at Drivers Door

It's been removed and reseated, no change. The higher it goes, more headliner appears. Setting it lower hides it, but then it is barely on the pinchweld.

2025 Headliner Exposed at Drivers Door

What do you mean stick my finger in there and fix it ? It won't stay under like it is supposed to. I've messed with it, the service tech, and the shop manager at the dealer have all tried.

2025 Headliner Exposed at Drivers Door

Recently noticed the headliner at the driver's door showing below the door gasket. Adjusted the gasket down to cover, but it slides back up to its natural position. Dealer thinks the headliner needs to be replaced but doesn't know if it will get resolved until they replace it. Replacing the...

Seat belt graphic in instrument cluster

It is wild getting into this car and have to press a bunch of OK clearing buttons for idiot lights. I can understand it being red and chiming, but to stay on the screen to tell me it has acknowledged I buckled the seat when I was the one that did it is pretty f'n stupid to show me a green light...

(CLOSED) - 2025 Explorer - Remote Start Question?

2025 here, remote start set to auto. It has been in the low 40s here the last two mornings. Did a remote start while putting on my shoes. Three mins later get in and it is toasty warm in the cabin, on the seat, and the wheel.

Considering 2025 ST but concerned with reliability

It's a Ford. It'll be less reliable than the Mazda (or any Honda/Subaru/Toyota). It'll be cheaper to repair out of warranty than the BMW. It'll have worse body panel and interior/exterior trim alignments than any of the above. But, it'll be fast as snot and fun to drive.

Disable Auto Start/Stop on 2025 Explorer ST

They replaced the part and now it is flat. Now waiting for a new headliner due to the original not staying behind door seal.

Disable Auto Start/Stop on 2025 Explorer ST

Considering it requires removing the charging pad and mine is in the shop for, amongst other things, the rubber in front of it not staying down, not sure I want to pull that open once they fix it.

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Here is the box the four came in along with the included little set screws. You can see how short they are. Once engaged, they are barely in the pad anymore and most of their bite is in the gap. The cap screws are much longer so you can get more bite in the pad housing.

Four came in the box for the 45$. They are half the price of the ZL1s.

    2025 ST telephone

Try with another phone in both native mode and in AA/Carplay to determine if it is the vehicle or your phone. I have a Google Pixel 7a and have no issues other than occasional calls going garbled on my end and have to switch to speaker and back to bluetooth, and it fixes it quick, but I have...

    2025 Infotainment System Questions

So I can get Google Maps to work in the IC (Map View) when Waze is running in AA ONLY if I have a destination being navigated to in the main center stack native Google Maps and then switch to AA. If I cancel the navigation in native Google Maps center stack and then go back to AA, the map view...

Disable Auto Start/Stop on 2025 Explorer ST

I had my '25 in sport mode yesterday and again forgot to turn ASS off. The engine turned off at a stop light. I'll get a picture next time of the IC showing both icons.

Disable Auto Start/Stop on 2025 Explorer ST

Seems much easier than taking the steering wheel apart like the 2020-2024 models. I may wait and see if they offer any holiday discounts next month or two in addition to feedback from others here.
