    Warranty-Safe Performance Mods

Depends on Dealer. My ST was in for a vibration in the front while reversing and they diagnosed it as my Driveshaft actuator failing and they also found an oil pan leak. All repaired under my extended warranty and only thing they mentioned was my rear shocks are bad. My ST is lowered, intake...

Vibration when in Reverse and lurch when put into drive

The driveshaft actuator itself failed. It wasn’t just leaking. They believe that it was having some engagement issues or disengagement issues and binding up.

Vibration when in Reverse and lurch when put into drive

Follow up - Found a empty lot and did some testing. It does not always happen. When I put my explorer in reverse and cut the wheel, I heard a audible click or thump and then the vibration started (felt the whole car shake) Then I placed it into drive, rolled forward and felt a jerk and it...

I had to get some assistance installing my CVF Downpipes from a local mechanic friend. He is a 25 year certified mechanic and also works on diesel train Generators. (went from cars to trains after Covid) When I took the CVF pipes out of the boxes he was super impressed with the quality of...

    Catalytic Converter done at 88k

If I’m a betting man, I think it’s my left side one that went bad. I was picking up my daughter from basketball practice and I had my window down while idling and that’s when I started to smell of the rotten egg smell

Steeda vs H&R vs Eibach decision

Eibach instructions are to have the bump stops trimmed. I just forgot, but it hasn’t been an issue. H&R are the lowest drop I have seen in person.

    Need advice on lowering springs

They have been installed about 6 months. The photo I uploaded was 2 weeks ago or so. That is where they settled. I was next to a ST with H&R and I was slightly higher with a rake. They were more level. Eibach recommend trimming of the bumps stops and I forgot to. But I don't bottom out. The...

Need Some Assistance WIth My Exhaust Conundrum.

There are Different setups - If you have a MBRP axle back kit you will need to probably buy a Full exhaust to replace it. If you have the Cat back with X pipe that is why it is so loud, no middle muffler anymore. Personally I prefer Thermal or AWE full exhaust kits. I am running a Full...

    Need advice on lowering springs

I went with Eibach over H&R for the slight rake - I usually have 2 adults and 2 kids in my ST.. You really can't install the springs on the wrong side or wrong direction. Once you put them on the spring perch you will see the orientation and the springs are usually labeled.
