Any idea what adding the AFE intake would do to the mix? If it shaved enough off it may be worth the $600 and install time.

That's so crazy to me that this vehicle has that potential that can be unlocked like that. The E30/E50 tune is a no-brainer too since I plan on running 91 octane in the vehicle permanently.

I don't want to go down the extreme rabbit hole of performance upgrades with my '20 ST but want to dust some of the slightly modified trucks cars on the highway from time to time. My vehicle is mostly stock currently. 2020 ST AEM Dryflow Drop In Air Filter Michelin PSAS4 275/45/21" 95K miles...

    SLD 21" Wheels & Tires!

Sorry decided to keep the wheels until full tire replacement next year.

    SLD 21" Wheels & Tires!

Yes already went down that route. Tires were purchased new at Discount Tire in Tulsa and they inspected tire after issue arose. I know tires too and tried to find it at home one night with soapy water but I couldn't either. That's how we came to the bent rim conclusion. Sorry about that. I...

    SLD 21" Wheels & Tires!

Hey guys I'm posting this now for some feelers. I have a '20 Explorer ST and recently something must have happened as I have a slow leak on one rim. The leak doesn't always happen as I can go a few days or sometimes even a week without having to fill up the tire. Other times I need to fill it...

    Side Mirror Overextending

Oh how I wish. I tried many variations of this trick too in the past but none worked. I tried this Volvo mirror trick just now in the garage multiple times. The other issue with my Explorer mirror is that seems to want to keep trying to pull the mirror past its closing point as well. I'm betting...

    Side Mirror Overextending

The reset function that they outline in the service manual is to continue to push the power folding mirror button multiple times to get it to reset. I also tried the 5th gen explorer mirror reset trick of holding down the folding mirror button for 5 seconds but no luck.

    Side Mirror Overextending

That's a great link I hadn't found yet. Thank you for sharing the link. I think it helped a little in that it's only trying to extend a single gear cycle less than it was before but even after repeating the steps many times it still tries to overextend. I think the issue was the mirror got hyper...

    Side Mirror Overextending

So this issue has started recently. I’m worried as I had the same issue in my old Genesis and it necessitated a plastic gear swap that involved me spending 3 hours of disassembly and reassembly to fix. https://youtube.com/shorts/x8ho2rrFgc0?si=uObTAJH3Y6bbp4Xo

    Diamond State Sound Quality competition.

Very nice. Been reading up on your audio project. May be considering some sound dampening myself.

    Map Pocket Corner Out

Never seen this before on any vehicle. Anyone have an idea on how to tuck this back properly? Not sure if I need upholstery tools or leather tools.

Rear Opening Dimensions 2020 Explorer St

Yes but it's the height of the box that will sometimes get in the way and not allow you to fit the box inside of the vehicle. Like the height of the box won't allow it to clear the sides of the opening of the SUV.

Yeah the 75" boxes for TV's are typically about 45" in height. The 85" is around 49" in height so about 2 more inches of box on each end of what you had.

Sweet. Did you feel like you still had room to slide it in if it was a bigger box? For an 85" maybe?

Yeah I think it might work. Worst case scenario is I could bring ratchet straps, pipe insulation and a few pillows for between the roof and box, and transport the TV on its back on the roof rails. It should be mostly highway driving all the way back

Many thanks. That could potentially work for the box. Appreciate it.

That formula works only on a rectangle or square. This is an uneven hexagon. For real?

I wish I was that lazy/dumb. Nope. I purchased an ST last week but am not in America at the moment so I've yet to take possession or see it in person.

I'm going to be purchasing a large TV new in the box and was considering transportation options. The TV is located about 250 miles from my home so I would need to transport for a solid distance. Because of this I'd be hesitant to load flat on roof rails with padding under TV and box as well as...
