Can confirm, you will need to write the hvac asbuilt in forscan. Ill grab some picture but the tear down is straight forward but a the clips make for a little anxiety

Anyone have access and post the instructions to remove and replace the hvac controller? thats the real next hurdle is how to physically install this one.

Confirmed the PN and looks like the right unit. now to find time to replace whats in the dash and do programming.

Above seems to be correct, and should show as fitment for police interceptor when looking on ford parts websites. Ford seems to only show 1 set of pads for PI fitment. the above supersede L1MZ-2200-E (rear) BRF1886(front, motocraft PN) Rockauto shows a few different options with PI fitment but...

Why do I do this, It appears the current PN for us with heated/cooler seats and heated steering wheels is LB5Z-19980-EC, and LB5Z19980D superceeds that above doesnt come back as anything at places like tasca,(but its on the stickers of the items on ebay)...

Ive found these 2, both appear to have the little LCD displays LB5T-18C612-DG (gloss buttons) LB5T-18C612-EE (matte buttons) incorrect
