yeah, when I took the front bumper, back off to reinstall the grill shutters, I confirmed the motor was still plugged in on mine, but I got a code, for I think it was “unable to find limits of grill shutters”.

On my 2022 when i removed the shutters and left the motor plugged in I still got a code. I had to re-install the shutters. Since the shutters act as their own upper and lower limit stops the the motor can not find their position when the shutters are not installed. You either have to lock...

The dealer I went to said their warranty guy is about three weeks out on work and I would have to bring my car there and let it sit there for the three weeks until he gets time to look at it. That’s about the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. They said they don’t do appointments.

I would, and if they wouldn't refund me id put them on blast all over the interwebs. I would say ask them to replace the system if you like the sound but others have had this rusting issue also.
