I just didn’t enter the VIN number at all when I ordered it from Levittown ford. It asked and I continued without it. I knew they would say it didn’t fit for reasons mentioned above.

I heard about this and saw this video but I don't trust it. It is just as easy to save your from your vehicle and re-write it to the new one. That way you know you have the correct as built 100%. That feature of pulling your as builts is more for if you have made changes and don't remember...

Don't have to make any changes. just load your as built onto the new unit is all I did. as I said in the video i do not knw if this is absolutely necessary, but a previous post in this thread said it was so I did it.
