    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

Have you all checked the Ford site to see if it updated indicating that you have the latest updates otherwise it’s gonna keep saying that you require an update. I updated my Sync3 update two weeks ago and Ford still tells me I need one even after uploading the confirmation file.

    Replacement exhaust….that’s quiet

That is exactly the issue. I’m not looking for sound I’m not looking to beat six or 700 hp out of this, 400 - 450 hp. It is more than enough for me for my needs. I just want a reliable exhaust system that will not give me problems in the near future when it will put me a disadvantage. I like...

    Replacement exhaust….that’s quiet

OK I know I’m going to get blasted out of the waters by you sound technicians. But I want to replace my exhaust with a very good aftermarket system that doesn’t make any noise. Yes no noise and I don’t need any snide remarks. And no, I’m not keeping the existing system because it’s worthless...

How-to: Front climate control swap(add 20-21 temp display to 22+)

My basement in my garage is full of old car parts that I always said I’m gonna hang onto it and use it someday. And never did. I figured if I can sell this for at least what I paid for the replacement unit. I’ll be better off than just throwing it up on the shelf.

Folks know that a few of us have replaced the original front climate control module with one that displays the temperature, what are you folks doing with the original? Are you selling? Is there a market for it?

Raising temperature on rear seat warmers

    I hope not. I hope it’s not faulty. I hope it’s just a setting.

Raising temperature on rear seat warmers

Couple weeks ago I successfully added the rear climate control module so at least I can get heated rear seats. They are no where as warm as the front seats. Is there a setting in FORSCAN that we can adjust the rear seat heat setting or is this just normal for the rear seats

    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

Same BS answer I received. And I am supposed to rely the FordMyApp. What a joke also wondering if this is true for vehicles that have hot spot capabilities

    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

Actually, in a way I did. I use the chat service on the Ford site. Let’s face it they’re all reading from a script whether you emailed them chat with them or phone call them.

    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

I updated the file multiple times. It’s an XML file and it sees it and it uploads it so I’m not sure what else I can possibly be doing. As a professional DBA there that I can think of is the stupidity of the Ford servers.

    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

What I’d love to know is how long does it take for the my Ford account to update my sync version after I’ve updated my file. Two days later and it still tells me I have an update which I know. In fact I don’t. EDITED: I just chated with Ford on this question, and the response I was give is as...

I think I may be in the same boat. The box top has the exact part I ordered, but the subassembly has a different part number similar to the poster above.

So I Played with Forscan today....Great Tool....And Of course I have a question or two.

Yes, I had it on my BMW for the last 10 years. It’s a rim saver here in New York City when you’re trying to park. after you said it in FORScan, there’s also a procedure on setting the memory buttons. If you search on one of the posts, it lists out the six or seven different steps you need to...

So I Played with Forscan today....Great Tool....And Of course I have a question or two.

After reading through every FORSCAN posting that I could find here and sitting through a few YouYube videos I connected Forscan to my ST and dove right in.Pretty simple tool to use, but dangerous if you don't know what you are changing. Even when using the English language version module option...
