How-to: Front climate control swap(add 20-21 temp display to 22+)

None of the ford sites require me to put a Vin number in. But then the following day I get an email that I must supply Vin number otherwise the part will not be ordered.

How-to: Front climate control swap(add 20-21 temp display to 22+)

I am having a difficult time getting this part. Including Lakeland Ford parts. They want to keep sending me a different part number and I keep telling them I want part number LB5Z19980D. The part number they want to send me cost upwards of $360. I can’t stand when Ford wants Vin numbers. It’s...

    Mirror tap for Radar detector

Thanks to the postings and the pictures and the Amazon location to get this wire, I was finally able to get rid of that hideous looking coiled power cable to my escort passport 9500 IX yesterday morning I arrived at my doctors about 20 minutes early so I was sitting in a parking lot and it...

How-to: Front climate control swap(add 20-21 temp display to 22+)

And that’s what scares me. That’s the only place that shows for 2022. All of the site said this doesn’t fit your vehicle.

How-to: Front climate control swap(add 20-21 temp display to 22+)

Hey folks, I’m very interested in modifying this front climate control on my 2022ST. When I check part number on direct parts.com It states that part number LB5Z19980D is not correct for a 2022ST Ford Explorer. If anyone knows the exact part number or feels like this part number is the correct...

Your point could not be any more true. This is why I’ve joined a forum for every auto I have owned, including my 1976 Firebird formula. I have been part of that forum for close to 10 years

    10R60 Transmission

I was thinking on doing the same thing I haven’t tried yet. I have a Phone app called Auto Doctor, which is actually on my laptop also and connect to a wireless ODB connector. All my other cars tells me that tranny temp among many other useful data points. I never thought about using it on the...

    10R60 Transmission

So for the dumb question, how will I know if it’s between 206° and 215°. would a 15 minute drive in normal traffic. Headed to within that range? Also, should the engine be running when checking?

    10R60 Transmission

Thank you that’s all I’ve been able to find out on the Internet that it needs to be between 3.5 and 4.5. in the many years that I’ve dealt with engines and transmissions , I know for a fact that too much fluid is just as bad as not enough fluid in a tranny.
