    Tune Level

Cry everyone who has a naturally aspirated vehicle a river. The gains from turbo engines like in the ST get for such little money is insane. Honestly we have an expensive FMIC, but if you dont mind the fact that the OEM one heatsoaks pretty quickly, the HP gains are super cheap. (An N/A vehicle...

    Code P051D

I would call ZFG and tell them what's going on. From what you said: You have a crankcase sensor error firing when you don't even have that sensor, and it only started happening after you installed the tune. The first rule of troubleshooting - if something started acting weird only after you...

Can we start a campaign to get Ford to make a vertical to horizontal conversion kit?

^ How surprising, someone criticizes someone else and says "Why did you buy it" - it was the onr thing I didnt like, and quickly grew to HATE it - guesd what? Everyone downgrqding or eying the Linclon did the same - your argument is invalid. If I look at your posts and find things you changed...

Can we start a campaign to get Ford to make a vertical to horizontal conversion kit?

As I expected from people on a forum like this. A lot of shade for someone inquiring about something they dont find feasible, though you're happy to post about changing out your subframe for an Aviator one to get a second bolt, or dropping in the Infotainment unit from a Lincoln, or tearing...

Can we start a campaign to get Ford to make a vertical to horizontal conversion kit?

Here, take a look and open your mind to the possibility that something not meant for something else can be transformed. https://www.theautopian.com/how-someone-turned-modern-era-ford-explorer-gauges-into-an-epic-cyberpunk-cluster-for-their-1980s-nissan-300zx/

Can we start a campaign to get Ford to make a vertical to horizontal conversion kit?

In your world and many others, it may be batshit crazy to do a dash swap. For the rest of us, it's Tuesday. - Auto trans to Manual swaps - High-power-capable trans swaps - Clutch disc installation kits - Turbo upgrades - Porting and polishing - Engine swaps - Full suspension changes People do...

Can we start a campaign to get Ford to make a vertical to horizontal conversion kit?

I appreciate the sentiment, but it's really an old school mentality that we shouldn't let manufacturers lean on any longer. We aren't talking Legos and K'Nex, we're talking about Legos with a certain functionality, being swapped out for other legos. - The chassis, or at least where the dash...

Can we start a campaign to get Ford to make a vertical to horizontal conversion kit?

Which is where I was going. I don't mind getting nuts on the dash (Dont bring a blacklight), but for it to be viable, I need to be able to electronically join the unit to the vehicle, even if it requires a software update. (Instead of the Lincoln hack)

Can we start a campaign to get Ford to make a vertical to horizontal conversion kit?

Interesting - I didn't realize there was already a way to swap in the 2025 Explorer Infotainment system from the aftermarket already... link?

Can we start a campaign to get Ford to make a vertical to horizontal conversion kit?

Now that Ford has taken the feedback to not be so stupid, and have the large SYNC screen be horizontal in 2025 models, it would be nice for all us customers who made them so much money, to be allowed to pay them more money for a horizontal conversion kit. The design decision is bad for safety...

Sync 10" to 8" Screen (Downgrade) Upgrade

I have great appreciation for this thread, as the engineers/product designers who did this to us should be dragged out into the street and shot. That said, Ford corrected their monumental f***up for the 2025. My only question is will we be able to upgrade to the new horizontal layout from the...

New owner of 2020 ST. Ext warranty VS mods (info in post)

As said above, the biggest boost comes from the intercooler upgrade. The volume for upgraded ICs is ~250% flow capacity, so it is a HUGE flow restriction relief. (Also it's a much larger surface area, which means easier to cool) Better than that, the stock IC is so small that it can quickly heat...

Any mods i can do without voiding the warranty?

OK, lots of talk about tune, but there are more modifications for vehicles than TUNE. Maybe we can talk about other things that would not void warranty, and improve the general performance. - Rear anti-sway bar ? - Front strut brace ? (Stamped flat steel in the front... on a 4500lb vehicle -...

    How-To: Ethanol Sensor Installation

I have to admit, I'm a bit disappointed that we aren't able to hack a display view onto the dash cluster. I mean, some people here have the full Ford tools, wouldn't it be amazing if the Ethanol sensor data was just patched into the CAN bus and grabbed by the ECU, then pushed into a luster view...

    CVF Intercooler Install

Yea, first mod, at least - on the ST. :devilish: I figure Intercoolers are throwaway mods - throwaway the factory heat-soaking trash and move on. From there, if I'm already balls-deep in the front for intake, the mandrel-bent charge pipes will make a huge difference. (I'm still investigating...

Spring SALE has SPRUNG here at Lethal Performance!!

How did I get tied up in everything else, then miss the 10% off sale by 2 days? No full charge pipe set/mishimoto catch can/aFe intake for me

    CVF Intercooler Install

Nice! I picked up a Whipple IC from a forum member and need to install it. I'm eying the aFe hot and cold charge pipes and figure I need to do them both at the same time. (I'm a sucker for red crinkle coat...)

    Whipple IC and Tune package

You ever get an answer? I bought the Whipple IC off of someone and am considering tracking down the tune, but if it isn't any good I may forego it

So? Did the install complete? You all good?

    Rear camera recall

It is - inevitable. I saw reports of the seal being bad on the hatch and letting water run down the cable to the board,... without a drip loop. I was a little skeptical, but sure as shit, when it rains, I can get a blue screen. It was simply a poor cable design decision, and crappy seal design...
