    Upgraded has pedal?

Funny part is that until this weekend, my wife hadnt driven the ST yet. She got behind the wheel after a remote start, and luckily I was there, because when she got in, her foot pushed the feather of a pedal, and had it up over 4500 rpm without knowing she was doing something. My wife doesnt...

    Self powered sub

^ Well, I thought there were line levels to tap, but UNBROKEN sure is the person to ask, so I certainly remembered incorrectly. (y)

    ST vs. The Competition

Devil's advocate - the STs I see around CA are around $58K+

    Self powered sub

There is a writeup here where someone installed a sub and tapped the line inputs before the factory amplifier - I would look there

    Upgraded has pedal?

Of course I'm not asking to spin up an aftermarket for something so complex. Really I was looking to see if it was just me, and whether or not someone already had a solution. ie; "Yea, we know it's soft and lacking in feedback, but you can swap a unit from 'x vehicle' in there with a lot of work...

    Upgraded has pedal?

So the pedal doesnt feel thin, weightless, and without resistance? I drove all 3 vehicles within the same day, and only the ST felt like I was stepping on a Hot Wheels car, or a Pop Tart. Thanks for the input though, it helps to frame things a bit.

    Upgraded has pedal?

I'm sorry if it's been asked, but I didnt even see it on Google anywhere. I bought a '22 ST this weekend, (woot) and the standout for me by far - is the chintzy plastic gas pedal. My '17 XLT feels 10x better, and dont get me started on my Challenger. I feel like my foot is going to cramp up...

The best diff brace money can buy.

Thank you for the additional information that corrects my ill-informed post. "The More You Know", ehh?

The best diff brace money can buy.

If you don't know if you have a "1 bolt" or a "two bolt", touch grass. Go outside, get on the ground behind the vehicle, look forward, and directly in the middle is a big black subframe between the exhaust pipes. You will see one bolt, or you will see two. (There are picks all over this thread...

The best diff brace money can buy.

I tried ordering just now, but California is not in the dropdown list of states for their checkout system. While I understand that emissions-altering performance modifications are something they would not want to deal with CA for- The diff brace does not change that footprint at all....

The best diff brace money can buy.

Thats correct Boss. Broose, having the 4-bolt is a blessing, and generally you should not have a problem. The original spec was 4-bolt so it should hold. Now, if you're going to be adding a ton of HP and doing heavy hauling, you still may consider a diff augmentation, though I don't really see...

    Audio system prep...sound deadening project.

Unbroken, you're a sick, sick man. Love it. I'm irked by the massive amount of road noise and will consider some deadening, but knowing myself - I could develop such a sickness, just because of deadening.

Certi2020 Ford explorer ST needs need motor

I have heard that earlier 3.0L engines had problems with the oil pan seal. Apparently they were using an RTV silicone and it wasn't cutting it. Newer motors supposedly use a pressed gasket now. I would have to say that if the oil pan seals are under that much pressure that a seal lets out that...

Ford Explorer ST Recall 23S23 360 Degree Camera Stop Sale

I feel like you're all dealing with a clusterf***. - Production delays from not having good supply the last few years - Backups from popularity - Recalls that span multiple years that are now somehow classified as safety concerns (like seat belts/airbags) - A labor strike which can cause union...

    Recall Rear Bolt Fracture?

Basically, Ford wants to save $. As a manufacturer they tried to cut costs and pass on risks to consumers. The 2.3L was spec'ed to only 'need' 1 Rear diff plate bolt, while the 3.0L was spec'ed to have 2. This is flawed logic as the "1-bolt" rear diff setup was asymmetrical which means there...
