Can't wait to see this. Our strut bar is useless.

What turbosmart BOV for the 21 ST?

Looking at the 2 Turbosmart BOVs available, is the only difference between the 1096 Dual Port and the 1296 Plumb Back that one gives whooshy angry snail noises and one is silent? Is there any performance or reliability advantage to one over the other?

    9/11 terrorist attacks.

Was in 9th grade, getting ready for school. Just heard my dad say "Holy shit" as I was coming down the stairs, first plane had hit. I got down to the TV just as the 2nd plane hit. Took me a minute to realize it was real. There was an assembly about it at school. My AP European History...

This is happening as soon as my brakes are due. Plus the rear rotors and Street Pack calipers. Racing Brake made all upgrades super easy!

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Nothing major, got my black license plate to replace the white one. Not personalized though. Looks much cleaner than the usual CA white plate, and matches all the black trim.

    Lower suspension?

I think most here just view High Performance SUV and station wagon as pretty much the same. Lowering an Explorer ST or Jeep Trackhawk or GLE63 is all well and good and doesn't change their purpose. Lowering a Wrangler or Bronco, on the other hand, proper off-road oriented vehicles, is quite dumb.

    Lower suspension?

As the Explorer is like a vast majority of new SUVs and has zero off-road potential, it is essentially a station wagon with a taller roof. Lowering it 1.5 inches won't affect it's ability to traverse gravel driveways. Stock or lowered, it's still a big station wagon. Lowered just looks a...

    Black lug nuts

So these aren't black lug nuts, but a different option if you don't mind spending a little. I got titanium lug nuts from a company called ChasingJs. Super high quality parts, and look great. Now their titanium parts are burnished so they have a rainbow blue tint. My truck is Atlas Blue, but...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I like this! How did you do it? Just fill in the letter and re-polish/paint the plastic?

No spacers. Just the +33 wheels bolted on.

    Just mounted new 20’s

Looks great! I love the beefy sidewall of the 20s.

We do, RTR Tech 5. I was actually thinking about these wheels or RTR Tech 7s when I first got my ST, as I knew I didn't want anything bigger than 20s, and I always liked these on Mustangs. When I saw your pic in one of the wheel threads that sealed it for me! Yep, 20x9.5. The +33 is a great...

Who's received a thumbs up from other drivers?

In South Orange County, a $55k family truckster won't get much notice. And as far as Explorers, I see more STs around than XLTs and Limiteds! But I do get waves from the other blue STs and Raptors I see around.

I like these pics, but would look better now that I took those ridiculous hood letters off!

    New from Orange County

Hi everyone, new member from Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. We got our ST back in mid November and I've been lurking here for a little bit. It's an Atlas Blue 2020. Base, pano roof, and PTP. Getting the base was intentional as I didn't want bigger than 20" wheels and figured someone would come...
