    Front Sway Bar

One member said Steeda wasn't planning on a FSB. AFE is designing a matching front and rear sway bar currently, using @Clears as the testbed.

Car & Driver tests $108k 450 hp/6,100 lb Lincoln Navigator. Results as expected ...

Where was critical thinking missing: Post 1: Performance stat comparison between the Navigator and ExST showing they accelerate about the same and the Navigator handles like the Titanic. This is silliness as the Navigator is a lux SUV that really only needs to get out of it's own way, while...

    20" aftermarket wheel thoughts?

285/50 Pirelli Scorpion Verde AS Plus. They were on sale when I got the wheels, and had pretty good reviews. I have no issues with them, they're quiet and with 15K miles on them look nearly new. I don't experience snow in SoCal, but they do just fine in the wet. Now if you can swing the...

Car & Driver tests $108k 450 hp/6,100 lb Lincoln Navigator. Results as expected ...

In the spirit of this thread, comparing two vastly different cars, I'll compare my ExST to the Ford Transit I just rented from UHaul: Performance: I didn't measure anything with a Draggy, but the Transit is rocking the 3.5EB, so it was able to keep up with slow Friday lunch-time traffic just as...

Car & Driver tests $108k 450 hp/6,100 lb Lincoln Navigator. Results as expected ...

Well the cost difference isn't about the size, it's about the interior and build quality. And not that people buying a Navigator (or an ExST) are that concerned with MPG, but a smaller, lighter vehicle with a smaller motor getting better MPG isn't that much of a surprise.

    2022 Ford Explorer Platinum ST

The ST has lower gears, so the Platinum will always have that disadvantage.

    20" aftermarket wheel thoughts?

Thanks! They're RTR Tech 5. It's a S550 Mustang wheel. They're flow formed, so not quite as light or expensive as most of the people here rocking forged 22s, but I still dropped 9 pounds per corner even with the extra width and sidewall height over the stock 20s.

    aFe Momentum GT CAI

Also @ZFGracing posted some info that says the AFE performs better on more heavily modified trucks. Now yes the highest HP Explorers currently run FenFabs, but that's due to preference/availability. We haven't seen a direct back to back, and a tune is needed to get really anything out of either.

2023 Explorer images leaked (from China)

    That's what she said.

2023 Explorer images leaked (from China)

I'm sure we'll get this refresh here. Steeda posted some spy photos of the 2023 S650 Mustang, and it has a similar full width screen inside and a similar squared off front bumper.

    Toyota Debuts First-Ever GR Corolla

Also think about the cost. Everything on the GR Corolla is proven from the GR Yaris. The motor and drivetrain are basically a direct port. For a new STI, the old motor is long gone, so they would have to, at least, engineer an upgraded version of what's in the new WRX. That will definitely...

    Toyota Debuts First-Ever GR Corolla

It's being launched because North America loves and wants the GR Yaris, but that was a homologation special built to go rally racing and that Yaris chassis isn't certified here (IIRC is barely a Yaris underneath). Since this Corolla is sold everywhere, putting the same motor and drivetrain in...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Well the joint has a poly bushing so it's pretty stiff. If you're concerned you can probably machine up an aluminum or Delrin insert, but I wouldn't. I'm not about that solid mount drivetrain life.

NEW Product Alert! The AWR Racing rear diff mount

Question for us in the "4 bolt gang". Has anyone placed a GoPro under the truck to see how much the diff moves during launch? That could help show if this is worthwhile for us 2020s as well.

    Coming soon aFe sway bars

Nice to see some front bars as well! @Clears do you know if AFE still planning on making an intercooler and charge pipes?

That splitter is awesome. These pics make it difficult to keep my credit card in my wallet!

The Thermal R&D cat back exhaust PREMIER!

There's not a lot of straight piping in this system, so there's lots of opportunity for adjustment.

Racing Brake is in the game.

We chimed in because someone is working on exactly what was being asked about. Figured that was more helpful than Warren probably responding no because he has his kits available. Anything else would be out of this thread. Not trying to shit on or take away from a great product, just happy to...

The Thermal R&D cat back exhaust PREMIER!

Mine are pretty much dead center. Get under the car, loosen the clamps behind the rear cans, and push toward the back of the car. It should pivot some on the rear hanger. Just fiddle a bit and you'll get it.

Racing Brake is in the game.

I don't think so. He said he'll let me know when they're ready and I'm grabbing a set, I can post here again when they're ready.
