    2025 EXPLORER ST TUNING

Exactly what I was going to say, I don’t think an Explorer is their top priority.

    New owner woes

Yep still a code. It’ll show once you connect your code reader.

    New owner woes

First, I’d go get that code pulled from somewhere like an Autozone. I don’t think it’ll hurt to get the tranny fluid flushed, probably should do it anyway due to your mileage.

    2025 Power Liftgate - Lock??

There is a lock button right next to the tailgate close button but that’s the nearest place to lock it. Also you can lock the car via the door handles too.

    2025 Ford Explorer ST-Line 4x4 vs AWD

Yeah our Raptor has it too and it definitely is pretty neat.

    2025 Ford Explorer ST-Line 4x4 vs AWD

That is not the type transfer case we have. That would be for an Expedition, Ranger, F-series, or Bronco. I don’t know how many times I’ll have to say it we have AWD (intelligent 4wd I guess could be the same too I just never liked the wording to me I interpret it as an actual 4wd transfer case...

    22” Wheels??

Interesting. I know some people have used zip ties to pull the fender liner more out of the fender so that might help some of the rubbing.

    2025 EXPLORER ST TUNING

The ECUs are still locked with no progress on unlocking them reported yet. It’s probably going to be a little while.

    22” Wheels??

Usually the only rubbing is when theirs a large angle that makes the suspension compress and stretch on the different sides and even then it’s just the fender liner.

    2025 Ford Explorer ST-Line 4x4 vs AWD

Ford advertises it as Intelligent 4wd but it is in fact AWD.

    2025 Ford Explorer ST-Line 4x4 vs AWD

These cars are not 4x4 to start. Second, AWD seems to be pretty active and according to the gauge that I’ve seen only disengages the front side once you have hit a certain speed or start to cruise.

CV Fab Intercoolers for 2025 ST's

Tyler Clark's promo code still works so that takes a decent chunk off. I assume the aluminum pipe kit bundle is the same as charge pipes? So you do get that extra flow too.

    Convince Me...

First off, welcome to the forum. Now, as far as space, here's my take on it. First row space for the adults are really great. Front comfort is really good, and can be really comfortable for any person of height. Second-row is also similarly spacious. The 3rd-row is when it gets a little tight...

    2022 Tires Worn Already?

That's why I said there is a balance. I've always filled my tires to higher then recommended specs from the manufacturer, although I've never "overfilled" tires, and I've never had any abnormal tire wear.

    2022 Tires Worn Already?

I guess I should clarify. I inflate my tires to around 40 psi cold, as I always was taught that that tire pressure is better for tire wear and fuel mileage, although worst for comfort and performance. I've done a little research on this, and it tends to be true (it's a highly debated topic so...

    2022 Tires Worn Already?

But keeping them low also hurts tire wear so there’s definitely a balance. Keeping them at a higher pressure (38-44 psi cold), as long as your not inflating them a crazy amount, is actually going to wear the tires less then the recommended tire pressure most people recommend of 34 psi.

    2022 Tires Worn Already?

Agree somewhat, I just think that difference can put more stress on the AWD system and will shorten it's life expectancy (probably not by much but something to keep in mind.

    2022 Tires Worn Already?

That's a big difference in tire depth, that might mess up the AWD system.
