    Exhaust smell inside vehicle

Okay, just took my ST into very reputable dealer with a great Service Dept. Got the screen update and had them take a look at the exhaust smell issue. Service Advisor was at first telling me had never heard of this problem, likely really I say to myself. About an hour later he comes to me...

    Rear end damage

The person's insurance company that is at fault should provide you with a rental vehicle. They cannot say that you have to drive an unsafe vehicle.. Be persistent if necessary, you should already have the rental by now.

    Rear end damage

From your descriptions I bet it will be at least $10K to repair it right. Don't accept it from the body shop until you are satisfied. Hopefully his insurance pays for your rental car.

Owner 2020 Atlas Blue in Massachusetts... thinking about trade or selling my Explorer ST

I was thinking about selling or trading in mine also, sorry for the next owner, but not really sure it would work out because of the mark up on a new vehicles is crazy.

    Catalytic Converter Cracking

I also just started a new thread a few days ago indicating that I have the exhaust smell inside my ST. Wife and I are are really upset about this issue. Taking it in to dealer next week. I will take to multiple dealers if necessary, but trying the one with the best known Service Dept first.

    Exhaust smell inside vehicle

Well guys, this may do it for me. At about 20K miles my wife and I have noticed an exhaust smell inside the vehicle. Not willing to keep the ST with this issue. Taking it into the dealer to have it looked at next week along with the recall on the screen. I might see what they will give me for it...

How many people warm up their Explorer ST before driving?

Start and go, in my opinion. Wife uses it a lot more than I do, so she may start it with her phone to make it comfortable for her, but not for the sake of the ST.

What kind of washer fluid are you using

I just get the Walmart fluid and usually have no issues. I put new Michelin blades on, but OEM were actually better. I was a diehard Trico fan, being a parts pro at PepBoys in my former life, but feel that Bosch and some others have caught up in quality. Also, try cleaning your blades with...

    Oil Brands you use?

Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W-30 is my choice and I go about 10K between changes. I go 15K between changes on my other car

Wider tires on the ST's 20" wheel

I won't need tires until later next year, but seeing if anyone has put a different size tire on their 20" inch ST rims to get a sportier look, say a size 275/50R20?

Anyone ever made a SPORT button?

A little off subject, but if all those lights start flashing on my dash again I will just cover them up with black electrical tape like we had to do with the Chevy's, but at least it was not untill 100K miles.

Anyone ever made a SPORT button?

Well, my wife just uses her phone to start the ST.

    Brake pedal stuck

Any chance you had your E-brake (parking brake) on?

    ST street package 21

245/50R20 is too short of a tire. You need either 255/55R20 or say 275/50R20 on the ST.

    Pre-buy Used 2020ST Check list?

No help on the squeak. Others have spoken about it on this forum. If I could recommend leaving the key in the center console, as designed, and using the door key pad. That really works great once you start using it. I have not seen my keys in months. Other than that, hopefully you have a Ford...

    Pre-buy Used 2020ST Check list?

Seeing if you bought the ST today? I did receive a recall notice this week for mine with regards to the issue of a blue screen issue when putting the vehicle in reverse. If yours has less than 36K miles you should be in good shape for having things fixed. I would thoroughly check the exhaust...

    Post your latest purchase.

Got my son this nice little Honda for Christmas. Of course I will be riding it also.

    Front Diff sensor leaking

Yes, mine was leaking bad, which started about 2 months after the dealer changed out this sensor. Possibly the technician did not pay attention to how the seal was seated when he replaced this sensor. I had a rollback tow my ST to the dealer, which Ford pays for while under warranty.

How many people have had driver side heated seat issues?

Mine continues to work fine at 19K. I bought it brand new and I am against buying extended warranties, but that was because I knew I didn't need it with my Honda Accord. I might reconsider with the ST before I hit 36K.
