Ford Performance Tune released for Ranger and Bronco Raptor variants just dropped and its WAY better than the one for our Exploders...

Explorer Raptor would make no sense for this platform, neither is a Timberline or Tremor either. I’d take a Shelby Explorer any day though.

Ford Performance Tune released for Ranger and Bronco Raptor variants just dropped and its WAY better than the one for our Exploders...

No I agree Ford should've definitely upped the HP on the ST. Yes, usually there's no replacement for displacement, but here we are with relatively small engines (the 3.0L is only roughly 180 cu.in.). As far as the FP tune, the FP tune only retains the 3/36k mile warranty and not any ESP warranty...

Ford Performance Tune released for Ranger and Bronco Raptor variants just dropped and its WAY better than the one for our Exploders...

First off, the Bronco and Ranger Raptor use different engine components then our cars. The Braptor and Ranger Raptor are of course going to have different driveshafts (they are a different model afterall) and different gearing (as they are for off-road). First off, the Ford Performance tunes are...

    Tire pressure

Wow @powerboatr I would’ve just told @BrooseDaMoose yes or no. Very informative post.

    Tire pressure

The door jamb is for stock wheel tire setups only. Wouldn’t apply to him since he’s running a completely different setup.

CEL Came on - Tuning Related Question

You’ll be perfectly fine without the tune. Those mods don’t require a tune just help power with a tune.

    Tire pressure

Check what’s recommended on the tires. I usually go about 6 psi cold under whatever the max PSI says. Keeps better tire wear and gas mileage.

CVF (and others?) downpipes nogo for ‘25 for now

Well sorry that they ended up not fitting. Seems like CV-Fab was very understanding about it and seemed to have pretty good costumer service.

    Price Change

My point exactly. If he signed a price paper then there should be no way they could change the price.

    Strange front-end ST issues.

Axle boot tears on the front CVs are very common on this platform. You’ll have to replace the fronts. Nothing else we can really tell you.

    22” Wheels??

Lowering springs (at least the ones available) don't change if tires will rub or not. It’s just changing suspension ride height geometry.

    Price Change

Missed that info. So changed a while ago.

    Price Change

Did you sign a paper that showed the price? If you ordered it directly then you should be good to pay what you agreed upon. If it is dealer inventory promised to you then they can do whatever they want pricing wise. I haven’t heard of any price hikes so this is interesting.

    Ford Explorer Tremor

Yay another off road variant for a platform that is clearly not made for it. These 6gen platforms are street or very light trail, the architecture of the platform just isn’t right for off roading.

10R60 blown, trying to find some answers over replacement

As long as it is out of an ST or Platinum or King Ranch everything should work up fine.

    They should work.

Honest opinion of 2025 ST. Buying a 24.

The brakes even in the older cars aren’t anything different then any other Explorer to me as far as feel alone. The throttle feel has nothing to do with anything because it is not directly connected to anything, the throttle is just a sensor with some spring providing the only pushback.

Recall on Explorer over Engine risk fire (police interceptor)

Most PIUs have the 3.3L engine. Those are what they’re recalling. Not out twin-turbo 3.0L Ecoboosts.
