    Interior creaks and rattles

Same here, with temps over 110 for several days I've noticed a bit more as well. Still nothing like before, but there is still something. I have 1 or 2 things in mind to try, if/when I do and they help I'll be sure to update this.

I agree that it's something just under the leather. But they wanted to replace that, so I had to go with it.

If you let the dealer take a look and they actually figure something out, I'd be really interested to know what they find. The dealer I have been to hasn't fixed it even after replacing parts haha (I didn't think the seat track would make a difference when they told me they were doing that)

Removing the panel really isn't all that bad, I didn't even watch a video the first time I tried, so it took me a few to find the "hidden" screws. The video Vikings71 posted should help a lot if you feel up to giving this a go.

The physical movement in the seat is something I had as well, the TSB with the heater hose fix does actually help with that one. The creaks and pops though, I feel like those are internal and probably have to do the massage part of the seat.

That's awesome you got it done and it took care of it for you as well! I had the paper and foam sheet here at home so that's why I went the route I did haha. Ace would have been where I went for something as well, it's great that they have a huge selection of things you can buy the amount you...

    Calling Phoenix AZ owners

Hey all, After having the engine replaced in my 21 there have been odd noises and I've been back to the dealer a couple times already and recently made a couple under hood videos (for the audio). I've sent those to the dealer but would really like to get some video/audio from a properly running...

You're welcome. There are still random creaks/clicks but nothing like before doing this. So I would say this helped greatly for me so far.

Thanks! It's a little crazy what a couple cents of washers could help prevent yet manufacturers don't do it

    Interior creaks and rattles

@Vikings71 I did the passenger rear door today and took a few photos. 1. The 7 screws that attach the sun shade to the top trim piece, these are the ones I used paper washers on. I'll explain why in a couple photos. 2. The 5 screws that hold the shade to the door panel. This is where I used...

My vehicle isn't even running right still, so I'm not willing to invest that much into it to do sound deadening. For me the noise was there if the shade was up or down, that didn't make a difference.

Yeah, I would say it's worse when it's hot outside (which is almost always here in Arizona haha)

    Interior creaks and rattles

I might have finally found what it is, and it does have to do with the sunshade. I took the door apart and found that where the sunshade attached to the door and top trim piece creates the noise. I created some paper washers for the screws that attach it to the top plastic, and some thin high...

    Steering Wheel Play

I agree with you, and I always dread having to have work done by the dealer, but picking up the bill for the engine replacement and all wasn't something I'd be on board with for a vehicle that is a year old ahaha. What's really funny is that I was talking with the service manager last night...

    Steering Wheel Play

I went back to the dealer this morning (rather than try to figure it out myself) and they did have to disconnect the steering shaft for the repair they just did. They re-aligned and tightened everything and it's back to normal now again. Now I hope I won't have to go back until the first oil...

    Steering Wheel Play

That's what I was thinking as well, but with not having my vehicle for almost 4 months of this year so far I felt better asking and getting confirmation before taking any actions (almost thought it could have just been in my head haha). I have a feeling I'll take it back in and make them fix it...

    Steering Wheel Play

Hey All, I just got my vehicle back (again) and driving home I noticed that it felt like I was fighting the vehicle more to keep it straight and there was more play in the steering wheel. So when I got home I noticed even when the vehicle is off there is few degrees of play in either direction...

Request for some info - undercarriage fasteners

That's what I figured was missing from that one, the other areas I can't remember if there was anything when I have been under the car in the past.

Request for some info - undercarriage fasteners

When I did my install I used cheap baggies and labeled them with each section I took them off of so I didn't have anything left over :) I will give the dealer a chance to make this right, it's just sad how poor of a job gets done.

Request for some info - undercarriage fasteners

Since I got my vehicle back this last Tues eve I've been worried things were missed from the dealer after replacing the engine. What prompted me to shimmy under the vehicle is an odd rattle/grinding noise on hard accelerations (I remember reading about paper rustling noises being the panels...
