There's something *cheap* with the way the glass wobbles around when the windows are open. Noticed it when I had them slightly open for cleaning the other day. Either the channel the glass sits in is too big to hold the glass, or the hardware (bolts, rivets?) that holds the entire mechanism...

Yup. I looked at the reviews on Amazon & some muppet had given them 1 star because they didn't come with instructions & were "sitting unused in the garage, save your money"... & yet he'd overlooked there were instructions on the Amazon page right above his review... :)

Minor blingy

They insisted on the wrong serial # (MB950).. so if a museum guy is standing by it say "Surely this is PA908?" ;) We actually left the original serial # painted on the front of the spar just behind the carb.

What rubber puck is that? The crap that came with my UniJack was pretty much cut in half the first time I used it. Got my money back for that.

I restored the PR XI Spitfire (the blue one). If they ever take it apart they will find my name in all sorts of usually inaccessible places.

and it's absolutely pointless asking anyone in the dealer service dept who are often unable to intelligently communicate with owners who know more about the vehicle than they do. Case in point: Attempted to buy 3 Allen head M6x15mm bolts recently at a local motorcycle shop for the chain guard...

You think they're going to stuff a grade 8 or 10 bolt into the single bushing? I think it's a badly written recall notice. It's about a $1300 subframe at dealer cost apparently.
