Can you even get the MPVI2+ anymore? I see it sold out in many places since the MPVI3+ is opening for orders next month.

Definitely get something that has GPS functionality. Getting alerts for red light/traffic cameras and the smart features that mute alerts based on GPS are worth paying extra for.

I run the Escort Max 2 and the Uniden R7 in my cars and I'd say the escort in my experience is better in terms of false alerts but it lacks the directional arrows that the Uniden has. I'm waiting on some more reviews of the new Uniden R8 before deciding between that or the latest Escort, but...

I agree, but i'm just relaying the information I received from the dealer. The PCM update is complete, but the dealer still can't release the car, so something is up. I got ford involved too, they talked to the dealer and this is the latest update they've given me.

Just heard back. My salesperson is saying that they will be limiting torque temporarily until a hardware fix can be done so they can sell it. When the hardware fix is completed, they will bring it back up to stock power levels. THIS SUCKS!

False alarm for me, guess the dealer can't release the car after all even though the PCM update is completed. For some reason the stop sale is still in place for my VIN. Very frustrating.

Weird, i received an email from ford almost immediately confirming the order. Sounds like the dealer didn't submit it or they have your email address wrong?

This is your best bet. On mine, they dropped the market adjustment once they found out I already had an order in with a different dealer.

They waived the market adjustment if I paid for the paint/interior protection, so out the door it was like $1.5k more, so not that bad.

The multi-contour seats are my big worry, if that's missing I may not buy the car. That's one feature I was really looking forward to and I felt as if it made it more of a premium vehicle. Replacing the 8-way with 10-way seats and a $300 credit doesn't make up for that feature in my view.
