went ham fisted this weekend. AFE intake in, Borla S exhaust on, Steeda brace and Intercooler installed. Intake only "fun" was the driver side turbo clip, getting the clam tool on there was annoying. Intercooler was not as bad as i thought it be. I did find out I have no front washer on my late...

Mine works great. Make sure you secure the wires as if on a rough road it will wiggle out.

Recall on the 1 bolt rear axle

Would someone mind sharing their recall notice number for is using, please? My recall was for a flash to fix the Ebrak issue. I asked about the bolts and they said it is under warranty for 10 years or 100k miles. I rather have it done IMHO.

    Mishimoto's Performance Intercooler R&D Thread

Sorry mixed up the 2 questions i was thinking of when I wrote it. To answer your question, air over a smooth surface moves slower than a slightly rough surface. Friction of the air on the surface. But something tells me you are aware of that. The turbulant air question I was trying to ask was...

Racing Brake is in the game.

@Warren-RB Sorry for the question, but why do the larger rotor in the rear and not have a larger caliper to take advantage of it? Is the idea to get a larger heat dissipation surface? Seems like not using a portion of the rotor does not gain any benefits?

418 hp 3.0L Bronco Raptor is slowwwwwww ...

you laugh but I have gone to Raptor owners and asked them if they like to join us for desert runs and they were offended I even asked to take it off-road. So yea they are a lot of curb crawlers as we call them HAHA.

418 hp 3.0L Bronco Raptor is slowwwwwww ...

Well said RocketW19. It's like saying my Raptor is slow cause it is the old V8 and does not drag race well compared to boosted trucks. Especially not with 37's as the unsprung weight is ridiculous. Thought I did some modifications as attached. Even with gearing I only gained 3% in torque. The...

    Mishimoto's Performance Intercooler R&D Thread

How much flow difference is there from curved ends vs squared ends like competitors? Does the flow dynamics matter for that design as turbulent air flows faster in most cases.

418 hp 3.0L Bronco Raptor is slowwwwwww ...

37's are not designed to be drag race tiers. The thing is built for desert running, not the skid pad. The Bronco will outpace the Jeep all day in the dirt. If you want slow crawling, get the jeep.

    20" aftermarket wheel thoughts?

The 20 setup with rim and tire would be lighter than a stock 21 setup correct? Trying to decide between keeping 21s that is has now in the street pack or drop a tire size down. Daily and road trip car with some back road fun driving. Ug to many choices.

    First road trip

Took our explorer ST on a 2-week road trip to Yellowstone and Glacier. This was a great trip and the explorer was a blast to drive as we all know on the twisty roads. AWD came in handy with the rain we had for a few days on the way to Glacier as it was raining buckets. Luckily we were in...
