    High Performance Package, Dealer installed?

I'd be interested to know what the difference is between the brakes in the Street Pack and those in the High Performance pack. I've taken three test drives, all in Explorers equipped with the Street Pack, and the brakes were, shall we say, grippy. I can only imagine what anything further...

What did your Ford Explorer ST replace?

Well mine is being ordered so I won't have it until late March/early April by best estimates, but at that time it will replace a 2009 Pontiac G8 that I've owned since 2011.

Hope they get it taken care of.

    CHECK ENGINE LIGHT

Sounds a lot like an O2 sensor has come unplugged since both the data circuit and the heater circuit are throwing codes. Either unplugged or the circuit is otherwise broken somehow, like a burnt-through wire or a cut wire or something similar. If it's sensor 2 it should be a downstream one if...

    High Performance Package, Dealer installed?

I asked the salesman about the High Performance Pack today during our rather long conversation and he indicated he has never seen it in Canada either. Think it's safe to say we don't get it here. Also I remember in the hype leading up to the release of this car, they talked about it having an...

What competitors did you consider before purchasing Explorer ST?

As a Chevy/GM guy for my entire driving life I was looking at the Traverse or possibly a Colorado, and I also did give some brief consideration to a Dodge Durango but I ruled that one out pretty early on in the game. This will be the first Ford I have ever owned.

I'm starting to get that impression, yes. The salesman won today. This was the third test drive of one of these cars that I've taken and I got to test out a few more features as well, even the Apple Carplay, and it won me over. They're having to build mine though because of the combination of...

    Fuel Grade

Wow. I'm surprised by the 87, considering the power and the twin turbocharging. It would be interesting to test out the two fuel grades in the hot weather, as that excerpt seems to suggest, and see if there's an appreciable difference. Thanks for the responses everyone.

Thanks everybody. From what I've seen so far on the forums it seems like there have been some fit & finish issues and some nagging little noises that people are having a hard time tracking down, but for the most part no major issues with these vehicles. Fit & finish and ironing out other such...

    Fuel Grade

Hi folks; As a prospective owner of one of these vehicles I've been doing my homework and trying to figure out everything I can about them, but the one thing I so far haven't been quite 100% clear on is what grade of fuel they are supposed to run. Experience makes me want to think that it is...

Greetings one and all! I'm Adam/KNTRDR from Burlington, Ontario, Canada. Not an ST owner yet but I've settled on it as what my next vehicle is going to be. I've already test driven a couple of them and watched/read every review I could find in magazines and online up until this point (as you...
