    SLD 21" Factory Wheels

I'm not sure I really want through them all that quickly but I do have it set up to be a fun car and that's largely how I drive. No burn outs or anything like that but I definitely have fun. When I see people on here talking about averaging in the 20's with their gas mileage I'm surprised.

    SLD 21" Factory Wheels

Selling factory set of the 21 inch wheels. They were on for about 13k miles. Depending on driving the tires have maybe 2-3k miles left before needing to be replaced. One wheel had minor curb damage that has been repaired. Will include black lug nuts as well. Pick up only in DFW Texas area with...

    Best wheels for the buck....

I would second this statement. Loved the looks of the vossens and was going to get them but the ones I wanted were early summer release. The Velgen VF9's offered a great value and shipped out the same day I paid for them.

I've looked at them but haven't pulled the trigger on it as I'm "supposed" to have that front license plate there and feel like it's only a matter of time before a cop here in Texas forces my hand and I have to remount the plate holder.

Finally got everything cleaned up nicely since the Velgen VF9's we're installed. Gotta figure out the next upgrade now.

    Tire size suggestions for 22s

I can't imagine on that set up there is and a number of guys are ruining that tire size. With slightly wider set up on mine and sightly less side wall I have zero rubbing off any kind.

    Reverse lights

I have the XPR set from Diode Dynamics and it's a night and day difference between between them and the factory lights. They're definitely on the pricier side but well worth it and easy to install. https://www.diodedynamics.com/backup-leds-for-2013-2021-ford-explorer-pair.html

    New Velgen VF9's w/Michelins

Yeah I can imagine I would have a tougher time getting much wear out of those on that set up as well. We'll see what I can get out these but now that I've got the new wheel/tire set up and I'm super happy with how it looks I've started looking for a CT5V Blackwing and in the event I can get one...

    New Velgen VF9's w/Michelins

Absolutely! When I was looking around I really thought the VF9's looked great on several Jeeps but couldn't find any pictures of ST's with them but they look awesome now that they're finally on. Thankfully for me this isn't my main vehicle so the ride(which honestly to me isn't dramatically...

    New Velgen VF9's w/Michelins

Yeah I did the Lamin-x gunsmoke from whoosh motorsports. Going to be removing though as it's just dimmed the headlights too much for my taste. They're not even brighter than an LED street lamp now.

    New Velgen VF9's w/Michelins

I worked with Adrian and got them directly from Velgen and they were on my doorstep 2 days after I paid for them. Extremely happy with how they look and the dramatic change in stance from having the wider wheels.

    Tire size suggestions for 22s

As stated originally I have the 22x10.5 +30 offset for the wheels and ended up with Michelin Pilot super sports in 305/35/22. For me personally the proportions are better in this set up and no change in the overall tire height. Based on all of the information on this thread the perfect wheel...

    New Velgen VF9's w/Michelins

Without a doubt you can feel the bumps in the road more compared to factory. I am riding on H&R springs as well and that to me made a bigger difference than the wheels. That said the wife hasn't complained about it yet and I also didn't pursue the modifications to it in the interest of having...

    New Velgen VF9's w/Michelins

Yeah I have to agree and it makes a massive difference with having the wheels now flush with the fender edge. Will have factory 21s available for sale of anyone is interested.

    New Velgen VF9's w/Michelins

Finally got these installed! Followed @UNBROKEN for wheel size at 22x10.5 +30. Tires were a bit of a pain in the ass as so many sizes are unavailable with zero ETA for availability but ended up with Michelin Super Sports in 305 35 22. The guys at Velgen were super quick to get back to me and...

    Light tinting..

I just recently ordered and installed the Lamin-x kit in Gunsmoke from whoosh motorsports and it wasn't super difficult nor did it require any thing tool wise that you wouldn't already have. That said I'm going to be removing them shortly after the weather improves and I can get it all cleaned...

    Tire size suggestions for 22s

The biggest challenge is simply availability at this point. Pirellis would be great but no one has them and at my preferred size of 315 there are not really any great tires available either. One benefit of being in Texas is that much of the roads I drive on are cement so I don’t have much in the...
